Lovely hotel in good location. Attentive, courteous and friendly staff. at all levels High standard of cleanliness. Lovely room overlooking the sea.

En-suite bathroom had everything required, including a good shower, but was a very small bathroom indeed.

Great hotel with extremely helpful manager at the reception, really nice man, he gave us lot of useful recommendations to our travels. We really liked the breakfast. While the siting arrangement was basic and choice not lavish, the products were local and home made giving us great local experience. For us, quality of product is more important than width of selection. If we travel to the area again, we will definitely come back to this hotel. Great view from our 8th floor room.

One key crossbar was falling from my bed reducing comfort, but that was probably exception. We had a room with great view, but the hotel has varienty of rooms, some of them with much worse (or none) view. Pay attention what room you book.

Hotel is not in a great location, pay a bit more to be nearer to the town centre.

Rethymno old town is AMAZING and the hotel itself is clean and comfortable , staff were very nice.

Location of hotel was on the very busy road into Rethymno , take 30 minutes to walk into town. Local public beach is not great, surrounding area is a bit dirty and rough. Because the hotel is built into a very steep hill we had to take 3 separate lifts to get to our room on the 7th floor.

Great Hotel

Wonderful hotel, Stelios, the owner is verry welcoming. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, with great views. We only spent a few hours here as we had our flight at midnight, but that few hours we had a great time here. Untill next time!

A gem close to Old Town :)

A lovely hotel run by fantastic staff. Mr Stelio’s recommendations were top notch! Everything clean and only a 15 minute walk to the Old Town. Across from the hotel is a small swimming area - on calm days go past the breakwater for a nice snorkel :) easy to get to other beaches in area as well. Rethymno beach is a 25 min walk - stop at Meli for a sweet treat on the way. And as the hotel is on the west side you can easily get to Sunset Beach Bar in 10 minute walk to enjoy the stunning sunsets.

It's a truly exquisite hotel to stay in the Superior Studio Sea View Room with a private pool. As soon as we had checked in, we had every moment with a blast. The private pool is one of the highlights of our stay. Nothing can beat the beautiful sunset sea view from the balcony while drinking and relaxing. The property was well equipped, great facilities and the room was very clean and comfortable. Handy location within a few minutes walking to Rethymnon old town. The communication with the Hotel staff were splendid, interactions was brilliant especially the owner Stelios, very friendly and helpful with the local tips. Do not miss him if you stay in this exquisite family run hotel. You will not regret it.

A gem of a hotel

Beds were super comfy...staff were amazing.....no problems with getting sunbeds ... bar service and food was excellent....logoon across the road was an amazing bonus....spotlessly clean....view from the pool area was a picture postcard

Comfortable, great location friendly hotel.

Clean, great sea view, close to old town, the staff, especially the owner are exceptional. He gave us recommendations for beaches , day trips, restaurants, helped with everything. Made our trip a memorable one. We had a room on the 8th floor. The view was stunning. There is also a small private pool for the floor. Nice too. Can’t wait to go back.

Can’t say anything. The only « price » you pay to being on an upper floor with the best possible views is the need to take 3 elevators. It’s worth it completely.

Fabulous view from our very good sized balcony, comfortable room with fridge, aircon and all necessary facilities. Our room and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble for Mr Stellios and his team with restaurant and day trip recommendations too!! Perfect location to visit the old town and the beaches with wonderful views. We are already arranging our stay for next year!!

A perfect stay in May at this wonderful hotel

Stelios and his staff made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay the best. Andreas' cocktails were delicious and always served with conversation and smiles. The hotel is kept immaculately clean and our room was perfectly serviced every day. We stayed in a room with Private pool which made our stay even more special and the views over the sea and fortress were amazing. Breakfast was varied and freshly prepared and the food served at the pool bar was tasty and great value. Would highly recommend the hotel and hope to travel back soon!

PERFECT!!

I loved the hotel itself- so clean and beautiful. The location was PERFECT! The most adorable beach just right across the road and an easy walking distance to the old town and restaurants. The food available from the pool bar was amazing and the service by Andreas was so perfect. And the staff were all SO GREAT! We were so warmly welcomed by Mr. Stelios who took such care with our check in’s We had a lot of fun just hanging out by the pool, enjoying the views or walking into old town. There is also a 24 hour convenience store just across from the hotel which was great.

A perfect gem

Hotel is right in front of the beach and far enough away from town to be off the beaten path but close enough to walk. Staff was friendly, room was clean and air conditioned, breakfast was a nice touch. Parking was the only possible downside. I parked on the street and loved that a gas station was a stones throw.

No significant complaints. The room I had (studio) was a little small. The balcony and view more than made up for it.

Quiet with a beautiful view towards the sea and fortezza

The sea view is fantastic, we had room in 8th floor. Small beach/lagune just down the stairs and across the road. We are a familiy with 2 teenagers, borrowed bikes for free at the hotel, made us easily travel around to the main beach and to the city in the evenings. Mr Stelios is really a nice guy who does everything to make the guests feel comfortable during their stay

Could have changed bed sheets at least once during one week, but room was maked every day, cleaned and new towels.

It was not what we expected.

The location was pretty convenient, you can easily walk to the beautiful old town of Rethymno. It is also very close to the main bus station, you can reach the hotel easily in 5 minutes walk. In front of the hotel, there is a small beach, it was pretty clean and nice but too shallow and rocky for swimming.

There seem to be some really nice rooms but the room we got was really nothing like the photos. It was super old and especially the bathroom was difficult to use. When we arrived at the hotel we were sent to the pool area to wait our room to get ready. We tried to order something to eat but every time we tried to order they told us to go back in 10 minutes. We waited to order for 30 minutes and then we left to go get some food elsewhere. They don't change the towels every day and that would be ok with us but we messed up and we asked them for new ones and they pretty much refused to change them for us.

This hotel has very friendly hosts. They help you by choosing a great restaurant, great beach and in every other way they. Views are simply amazing from balcony. You can also watch amazing sunset from your balcony (we had room in the upper floor-8 floor-). Cleanness is great and beds are very comfortable. Good value for the money.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Archipelagos in Rethymno, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the breathtaking views to the friendly staff, spacious room, and convenient location, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the views from Hotel Archipelagos are simply stunning. The hotel is situated in a prime location that offers magnificent vistas of the surrounding landscapes, including the azure waters of the Aegean Sea. Whether it was enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony or unwinding by the poolside, I was treated to picturesque scenery that instantly brought a sense of tranquility and serenity. The staff at Hotel Archipelagos played a significant role in making my stay memorable. From the moment I stepped foot in the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff members were always attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. As we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary we were even surprised by an upgrade to a room with a double balcony. Their friendliness and willingness to assist with any queries or requests made me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was incredibly spacious and well-appointed. It was tastefully decorated, with modern amenities and a comfortable bed that provided a restful night's sleep.

Blackout curtains and more variety in the breakfast selection would have been nice.

The OWNER IS THE HIT. He was so friendly and has welcomed us just fantatsticly. He explained everything and gave us many useful informations about the old town and the best restaurants of Rethymno. The Hotel is right beside the Sea. And also has two more pools...and some rooms got a little Pool on their balcony. The old town is just a 10 min Walk away.. also the interesting local restaurants in the opposite direction. Just perfect for us.

The view was amazing and it was only 15 minutes walk to the old Town and to good restaurants

The breakfast was simple snd ok but for the money should have been much better To get to the unit we had to take 3 lifts. I know the hotel is on a slope but it took a while to get up there We have been in Greece for 5 weeks now and this was by far the most expensive hotel. Our room and view was lovely but I did not feel we got much value for the money

Lovely hotel with a beautiful view of the sea and old town. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, all staff were very friendly and helpful. We requested a high room and that is exactly what we got - perfect! Plenty of local shops nearby and the walk into the old town took us around 15 minutes. There is lots of free parking too which was great for us. Also recommend the greek salad from the pool bar... delicious!
