Great and relaxing stay outside the busy center streets.

The sea view apartment is great and the view is beautiful. Easy to find parking. The apartment has washing machine and iron with ironing board. Wi-Fi connection.

No hand soap and the ventilation was noisy. Hot water is limited so be efficient when taking showers.

Modern, clean appartment

Very nice and clean appartment a bit outside of the city centre. There's a busstop down the hill to get to the centre. Nice view from the balcony and very spacious. I liked that there's a washing machine and the kitchen is well equipped.

You have to walk up a steep hill with your luggage to get there. In the summer heat that was a bit tough.

Nice view and helpful staff

I had a good stay at the hotel. The apartment was clean and well-equipped, with functioning air conditioning, which made the stay comfortable. The view was nice, and the staff were responsive and helpful when needed. Overall, everything was in order and met expectations.

The bed was located upstairs with steep stairs, which made access a bit difficult. Not all rooms have this configuration, so it may be more suitable for others depending on their preferences and needs. For elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues, I would recommend mentioning this when booking — ideally specifying age or mobility requirements — to ensure a more accessible room is provided.

Pleasant stay

Apartment very modern with everything we needed. Staff and owner very friendly.

Security not great, we were unable to get into our apartment as keys had been taken. Key safe numbers was not exactly a difficult one to guess, so can only assume this is what had happened. However after a phonecall (2am) the owner came to our rescue and arrived to let us in. Next day lock on apartment was changed and we were given a bottle of wine which was a nice gesture.

A very comfortable apartment with great views.

It's a really lovely apartment, very comfortable and it's nice to be able to spread out as this is a proper one bedroom apartment not just a bedroom and a bathroom. The views are amazing from the balcony and we appreciated the complimentary Raki and sweets. We've stayed in a different apartment in the same block and would definitely want to stay again.

A couple of minor points. Having to checkout at 10am is a bit mean. And the kitchen tap is incredibly stiff and hard to use. Strangely, just like the kitchen tap in the other Vivian Art apartment we stayed in. Not sure why they are Franke taps which are normally pretty good.

Very bad idea to stay

The air condotioner works

Outside had construction noises from 7:00 , can't sleep, very noisy place. The bathroom smells very bad. The cleaning personal has the keys of room and comes whenever she wants. The room doesn't like the photos. No parking area nearby.

At the ground flour was not what we expected, but I assume is better at upflors.

The room facilities were OK, it was a washing machine included. Air conditioning worked great. The apartment is cute. You can see the sea reasonably. (probably perfect from up floors)

Ground floor rooms are inferior and you don’t get that awareness during the booking process: - In front of the balcony and window (1 meter away) is a passage for people to access the apartment building, so you can't sit on the balcony with privacy, and people can see inside your apartment. We did not enjoy the view too much in these conditions because we had to put the blinds on. - There's a strong smell of mold when you open the cupboards. So we didn't use the closet. - The bathroom is a bit small in size: if one adult and one child are washing the hands in same time, the bathroom is full, you cannot close the door.

A luxury apartment with great views and a very comfortable bed.

A very pleasant and comfortable apartment with great views out to sea. This was easily the most well appointed apartment we have stayed in this holiday and the bed was the most comfortable.

A lot of apartments are let down by a lack of sharp knives and this apartment was no exception. We like to eat lunch on the balcony but it's very hard cut bread with a blunt knife. Minor point easily remedied.

Great views but service in general could improve

Great views, really a place to forget about everything, amazing for a breakfast with a view. The apartment in general is nice, we just had some minor issues and we didn't like how they managed to solve them (or not managed at all)

To sum up, i booked this place as forecast predicted cold weather (march with minimun temperatures between 5 and 8 Degrees) and it was said that it had heater, also because of Wifi. Heater was not on and the people i spoke with, told me that owner said "fuel tank is empty and i am not gonna refill it" they suggested to use the AC. Of course we tried, remote control was not working as it had corroded batteries, we solved the issue and asked for new batteries. Besides, switching on the AC would help if room door would be permanently opened, but if someone is inside sleeping, the living room/kitchen would not receive the heat from it. I also asked for some silicone as the shower screen had a hole and after the shower, bathroom would look like a pool, all the floor full of water (for sure nothing to clean it). They passed by during the second day and switched on the AC like "hey, it works", and for sure they didnt fix the shower they just gave us more towels to dry it. I had to text and call again (third time) to ask for new batteries for AC and some silicone to fix the shower. They told me that a plumber should go, to which my response was that there was no need to call a plumber, just some silicone and 2 minutes work,... they asked me if i had some silicone to fix it. At the end we put a plastic bag to solve it. Also on Thursday we spent the whole morning without internet (and we had to work). Besides, cleaning is every 6 days if i'm not wrong, ( which is excessive) and there are no broom and mop in case you want to clean by yourself.

Too far out of town and up a big hill

Kind host and great cleaners.

The hotel is located out of the main area of Rethymno, we would have preferred to be closer to the old town and the good beaches. It was a bit of a hike up a large hill to get to the accommodation as well. The apartment was nice but didn't feel like it was looked after particularly well compaired to other placed we've stayed at.

Amazing host and service, cleanliness and parking

I stayed in Vivians Apartments with a group of 8 friends. All of us are amazed at the service we got from this host. Even 2 months before our arrival we received all information that helped us with trip organization. They organized arrival from the airport to the apartments and early check-in in the middle of the night. To all our needs or issues they responded fast. About the apartment I can say that they are clean, they contain good equipment from the mosquito net to all you need for the kitchen. They are located in a calm part of the city. It’s not just that far from the old town you can take a walk but if don’t like to walk you can always take a bus and the bus station is very close to the apartment (it cost 1 euro). Also, amazing bakeries and fast food, and beautiful restaurants are close to the apartments. If you are planning to rent a car you can find parking anytime and it's free. I would like to say a big thanks you to the Giorgos and the owner of the property, we enjoyed staying at your place.

Not by the beach!

Everything was fine with the place itself, very clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the place is worth recommending if you do not care about being close to the beach.

The main reason that we've taken this apartment was that the beach was supposed to be 200m from the place. and it was, but it was smelling and full of rubbish. The closest one that was usable was on the other side of the city which was 40 min walk from the apartment.

An exceptional place. View to the sea and old fortress from your main balcony is stunning. Host is friendly. Bed and pillows're the cosiest. And this bushy banana tree view.. right from your bedroom makes your stay here unforgettable.

Exactly what I wanted.

I loved the apartment. Small, but had absolutely everything you needed. Location was great, as away from the busy areas and a nice walk into Rethmyno. Overlooking the sea and very peaceful area.

There was very little I didn't like, but bathroom was a little small.
