The place was exceptional. Nikos and Georgia have wonderful taste, a well thought out and clean residence with everything one could possibly need. We were truly impressed!
In addition, their assistance on the best beaches, restaurants and sights of Rethymno were all spot on. Would definitely recommend Mayas Boutique, especially for longer stays.

This apartment is excellent in all ways. It's clean and modern and very spacious. The location was perfect for us. It's very close to the old town, beach, harbours (old and new) and fortress. The old town has lots of side streets with plenty of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. The apartment is a block behind the shops so is very quiet and over looks an orange tree. There are two balconies, one in the shade and one in the sun. We were there to chill out, so we walked in the mornings/lunch times, had a light brunch, then relaxed for a few hours and then went out in the evenings for a walk and meal. The bus station is also close by, so we got a bus up the hill to Mili Gorge and then walked down through the gorge and then got a bus from the beach road back into the old town. We would highly recommend. The other thing, the hosts were very welcoming and very helpful with any information we required, and at the same time respected our privacy.

Beautiful, romantic house in Rethymno's beautiful Old Town with both balcony and toof terrace.
The house is totally renovated not many years ago and top condition with everything you need including a well-euqipped kitchen where you can actually cook is you wish so; you find 100+ restaurants within a five-minute walk.
It is located in a very narrow street so you won't hear much trraffic (no cars here, only two-wheelers) and none of the noise from the main streets.
Highly recommended for 2 or 4 people (6 will be crowded), but it may not be great for older people as there are some steep stairs to the great roof terrace.
Owner/host Nikos is super friendly & helpful.
We actually stayed here twice in 2022 - in august and again in october - we just had to come back :-) And we will be back again.
