Agriturismo Santa Croce

The location is fantastic. This was our third visit. The first was in 2001 for our wedding. We were back in 2011 with our kids. This time for our 25th anniversary. Our apartment had a beautiful outdoor terrace (for breakfast) and upstairs area with table and windows on three sides ... both with beautiful views of San Gimignano. The property also has a wonderful vantage point at the back with a perfect sunset view.

The facilities haven't been updated much since our first visit. The kitchenette needed some work (faucet was finicky, no microwave, a few missing implements).

Top lage, super ruhig. Der hof is wirklich schön, und man sieht von der terasse auf die türme von san gimignano. Die unterkunft ist groß und gut ausgestattet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder

Der fußweg nach san gimignano ist auf einer straße ohne fußweg oder grasstreifen, die autos fahren schon recht knapp und schnell vorbei. Aber es ist auch nicht so weit, also es geht schon

Views are great and the garden is nice, San Gimignano is short walk uphill away.

We stayed in an apartment , with my parents and my 1year old. Apartment has 2 stories- downstairs are bedrooms, bathroom and the kitchen which is practically along the corridor. To enter every room there is 1-2 stairs which is a bit uncomfortable with older people and a toddler. Upstairs is a large living room with great view but we couldn’t use it since it was hot and humid and we couldn’t open the windows since there were tons of mosquitoes outside. Downstairs there wasn’t a place where we could sit all together inside the house. There is a balcony but then again - mosquitos problem. Bathroom is pretty old and everything would need a renovation. Unfortunately after 3 days we decided to go since my daughter was filled with mosquito bites.
