Simona was very kind and helpful, she was able to make our stay memorable and enjoyable

A typical Italian breakfast, bread, croissant, jams, honey, yoghurt, cereal and of course hot drinks. Simona went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We were able to find out a lot about the Palazzo and the work already done to it. We were lucky to be offered a home cooked meal by Simona, her husband and her Mother, which was presented with true Italian hospitality and was a delicious treat.

Whilst there are only 3 rooms in the Palazzo we were travelling as a group of 2 couples and had two rooms on the first floor which shared a private bathroom. The third room had its own en-suite.

Great place!

We had a very warm welcome. Very lovely people and an amazing place to stay. Almost a castle. We had the complete first floor for ourselfs. Amagine a large livingroom with a table for maybe 10 or 12 people, a whole library, a huge balkony a beautiful large bathroom with a bath, and a large bedroom. We never had such a big place for that kind of money, cause we where traveling and only staying for one night. The breakfast was perfect and we had a nice chat white they owners. We totally would recommend this place to anyone. 10/10!

the building is wonderful. it breathes the history of many centuries. the couple has done everything to keep the building and its interior authentic, but equipped with everything you can expect in terms of luxury. the Hosts are very nice and customer oriented. our compliments and highly recommended!!!!!!

Simona took me on a tour of the whole palace, and told me about the hard work restoring it room by room over more than a decade. This place is truly amazing! An exceptional example of a traditional luxurious house which is so well kept, with stunning design, artworks and furniture. Our host was so nice and helpful, and the breakfast was great.

A hidden gem, in a local setting with lots of space and no people!

Its uniqueness. We had a entire floor and terrace for ourselves in a beautiful castle setting in a charming sleepy village. The hosts were delightful and cooked for us a delicious dinner on the terrace.

The building was just spectacular!!!!! Simone has renovated this magestic building back to its former glory and opulence. Words really cannot faithfully describe staying here - you feel it and love it. Simone offered a traditional Italian evening meal - which we accepted ( the property is in a small village - dining out would have been very difficult). The meal was probably the stand out meal of our 2 week stay in Italy - do yourself a favour and indulge!! Wonderful stay, outstanding hosts

Tolle Unterkunft und Erlebnis für 2 bis 3 TAge

Alter Palazzo aus dem 15 Jahrhundert als B&B, mal was ganz anderes! Gästebereiche sehr stimmig und liebevoll renoviert, teilweise beeindruckende Räume! Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich, hat uns auf Nachfrage viel über den Palazzo erzählt und auch gezeigt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Zimmer groß und die Betten bequem! Castello Cabiaglio ist ein kleiner Ort oberhalb von Varese total in den Bergen, ein alter Ort mit engen Gassen und einem Restaurant (leckere Pizzen)!

Es wäre gut wenn etwas deutlicher darauf hingewiesen wird, dass ein Parken direkt an der Unterkunft nicht möglich ist. Zirka 250m unterhalb der Unterkunft bei der Kirche und oberhalb sind kostenfreie Parkplätze. Ein Fahren in den Ort ist nur mit kleineren Autos gut möglich und erfordert gut Nerven.

Una piacevole scoperta

Il palazzo è un magnifico edificio storico del Quattrocento, conservato in modo impeccabile. Entrando nelle camere si ha davvero la sensazione di compiere un viaggio indietro nel tempo, tra arredi d’epoca e decorazioni di grande pregio. La struttura è gestita con passione da Simona e da suo marito, persone estremamente accoglienti e piacevoli con cui intrattenere una conversazione. Super consigliato!

Palazzo bellissimo

This is an incredible palazzo, with beautiful spaces to relax and remarkable frescoes. Simona and her husband were so lovely and welcoming, and their work to restore such a beautiful building is impressive. Breakfast was good. Castello Cabiaglio is interesting; the frescoes by Gian Battista Ronchelli in the church are worth seeing and the surrounding chestnut woods make for a nice easy walk. There's a friendly little restaurant / pizzeria in the town piazza. Grazie mille Simona per la tua ospitalità e per aver creato questo bellissimo BeB, e complimenti per tutto quello che avete realizzato.

Come un conte nella villa degli Sforza

Proprietaria gentilissima e simpatica! Dormendo qui vi sentirete un conte: bellissimo alloggiare con arredo d'epoca, in stanze affrescate e spazi nobiliari. Sopra ad una collina in un paesino sperduto, appena sotto ad un parco naturalistico in cui fare passeggiate. Luogo fresco e a soli 20 min dalle sponde del Lago Maggiore per un bagno.

Colazione buona ma poco ricca, essenziale e con prodotti confezionati. Mancava della frutta fresca o una torta fatta in casa! Poco parcheggio, se trovate pieno rischiate di dover parcheggiare in stradine laterali più in basso. Bagno con doccia piccolino e stretto.

Sehr herzliche und nette Betreung.Wunderschöne Räume, mit Liebe gestaltet, komfortable Zimmer, romantisch, filmreife Ambiente. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und erzählt interessante Geschichten zum Haus, gibt viele Tips zur Zeitgestaltung in dem Region. Es ist ein Platz für die Menschen, die gerne individuell reisen und besondere Urlaubsunterkünfte mögen.

eine abgeschiedene kleine Oase der absoluten Ruhe

Der Palazzo Ronchelli ist eine kleine Oase der Ruhe und Herzlichkeit und KEIN Ort für Reisende, die elegante Restaurants und besondere Geschäfte im der Umgebung suchen und den ganz besonderen Komfort wünschen. Also genau das, was wir gesucht haben: Ruhe, Abgeschiedenheit, Natur. Der alte Palazzo ist genau wie er sein soll, die Einrichtung besteht vorwiegend aus Antiquitäten und vor allem die originalen Deckenbemalungen und die phantastischen Steinböden laden zum Bewundern ein. Zum Glück wurde nur sehr dezent renoviert und somit der Charme beibehalten. Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort, die Räumlichkeiten grosszügig und weitläufig, anderen Gästen begenet man kaum, da es ohnin nur sehr wenige Zimmer gibt. Vor allem der Aussenbereich ist traumhaft dank der uralten Gyzinie, die sich um die alten Säulen rankt. Hier kann man stundenlang den dicken Hummeln zusehen und deren Summen geniessen, das Rascheln der trockenen Blätter hören wenn sich kleine Eidechsen ihren Weg suchen. Gelegentlich ist ein vorbeifahrendes Auto oder das Bellen eines Nachbarhundes zu hören. Dieser Platz ist ideal zum Lesen, Zeichnen für Meditation und Yoga oder einfach nur zum "Sein". Die Gastgeber schaffen mit ihrer Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft sofort ein Willkommensgefühl und dies schloss wie selbstverständlich auch unseren Hund mit ein. Daher an dieser Stelle nochmals unser herzlichstes Danke an die beiden Gastgeber für einen unkomplizierten Ablauf, das herzliche und fröhliche Willkommen und ihre guten Ideen.

Außergewöhnliches Ambiente in einem mittelalterlichen Palazzo. Ein wundervoller Ort an dem man sich nur wohl fühlen kann. Simona und ihr Mann sind sehr herzliche und liebenswerte Gastgeber. Sie standen uns immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite - von der Reservierung in der Pizzeria il Borgo im Nachbarort, dem Entgegenkommen bei der Frühstückszeit, dem Ausleihen eines Föhns, den Ratschlägen für Ausflüge bis zu Auskünften über die Historie des Hauses...

Unbedingt empfehlenswert

Ein entzückender Ort und dort in diesem prachtvollen historischen Gebäude zu wohnen, war ein echtes Erlebnis. Simona und ihre Familie sind unglaublich herzliche Gastgeber. Es war sehr interessant, von ihr mehr über den Palazzo zu erfahren, den sie selbst mit viel Einsatz für die Nachwelt erhält. Die kleine Pizzeria in der Nähe war perfekt für uns. Auch dort große Gastfreundschaft. Haben uns beim Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg in den Süden bereits wunderbar im Urlaub gefühlt.

Entspannung und Erholung pur 😊

Außergewöhnliche Übernachtung abseits von Lärm und Trubel. Wunderbare Natur für romantische Spaziergänge. Die Besitzerin und ihr Mann sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer gross und sauber mit wunderbarer Aussicht in die Natur. Ebenfalls das Bad. Der Frühstückstisch liebevoll gedeckt und die Bewirtung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der kleine Ort sehr ruhig und gut zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das kleine Ristorante/Pizzeria im Ort bietet feine Speisen an, für jeden was dabei. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Fantastische ervaring! Zeker een aanrader.

Prachtige locatie, we waren erg onder de indruk. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw die met veel liefde dit pand uit 1500 zeer smaakvol heeft ingericht. Het is alsof je in een museum slaapt. Wat een bijzondere ervaring!

De bedden zijn wat minder comfortabel en zouden vernieuwd mogen worden.
