I stayed in the Three Sisters room - with the spectacular views. It was wonderful to watch the weather and the sunset The cliff walk that starts right near the building was a really lovely walk also.
The mattress was ordinary. The room was basic - but honestly that view made up for it

OH the view- across the street from the beach and a sleepy little village! The room was very clean, windows that open to sea air. Really friendly staff in the pub. What I really didn't expect was a common kitchen in the building. A full size fridge, and a well-stocked kitchen in which you could cook a real meal. The pub is not open until 1:00PM and there is no shop in the village, so stock up on a few essentials before you go and use the kitchen! Also got to meet a lot of traveler that way!
but the mattress..... Seems all the lodgings (except hotels) are buying what I suspect are inexpensive mattresses. It's like sleeping on plywood with a layer of tissue paper - and they are everywhere!!! I don't have back problems but it was brutal on my back! At one point I lay the pillows out in a t-shape and slept on them.
