Cosy bolthole right in the heart of a gorgeous town.

This room is in a great location in the heart of Dingle village. We could step out the door and walk everywhere. We needed a car to get around the peninsula and there was adequate free parking on the street outside. There were some thoughtful touches from the host. The room was cosy for a couple of cold winter nights. Dingle itself is a really lovely place. You can step out of the door and there are a number of good pubs nearby.

Ashes review

We liked what we saw in the pictures, but didn't stay, so can't comment on the property interior, staff or room. Hi

The stairs, which we knew about, which would have been a challenge for my wife, who had a total knee replacement earlier this year. But we thought parking would be easier... It wasn't. We made three passes by the property and found no parking for blocks, and no baggage drop off. We were fine with everything else, but the road is just too narrow to just stop to drop luggage. This was unacceptable, so we cancelled the reservation ( at high cost, but we didn't care at that point). Lesson to Americans in general in Europe: Parking or Free Parking listed doesn't guarantee anything.

Location was in the centre of town - excellent Check in was really easy

Room was basic and dated dated and corridor leading to the room could do with some updating; This feedback is based on the price of €105 on a Thursday night with no breakfast; Room was worth €80_85 maximum for what it is and the time of the year and week. I'd score it low for Value for Money

In the middle of it all.

Great location, spotlessly clean, comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee, a fridge and a strong hot shower. Earplugs were supplied haha. Didn't come for the view.

Got a bit noisy around midnight but that's understandable given the main street location and isn't the Irish music one of the reasons you're there! Earplugs were sitting on the bedside tables haha.

Good stay in a great location

The location and room were great, really nice modern bathroom.

As noted in the listing it is loud outside at night. We travel with a white noise machine so it wasn’t a problem. I would recommend something like this, not sure if ear plugs would be enough.

No parking offered, only on street parking, and Dingle is so busy it was impossible to find parking near our accommodation, so a long walk away was necessary with suitcases and bags

Great place to stay, super comfy bed and an awesome shower. The staff were really friendly and helped us check in without fuss. The location is great, we had dinner there as well and the seafood was delicious. We loved our stay at Ashes.

Located in the down town core. Shopping, restaurants, pubs and grocery stores nearby. It was the perfect spot to stay for the night. The room was clean, the shower was nice, there was a mini fridge which is rare in Ireland. Great coffee!

Location and a little bit of luxury at an affordable price with a friendly smile

Ashes is such a great spot if you want to stay centrally in Dingle. There is noise on weekend nights but a decent pair of earplugs overcome it and if you're there for an occasion/night out this really isn't an issue. The bed is so comfortable, shower and bathroom facilities are hotel quality and plenty of towels etc. Sinéad was so accomodating, allowing us to check in 30 minutes early and facilitated a later check out.

Amazing stay in the heart of Dingle above the best seafood restaurant in town!

The location was great. Right on Main Street in the heart of Dingle.

It had a tendency to get a little noisy at night due to being just feet from several pubs with live music but that didn’t bother us. Pubs and live music is exactly why we chose this spot. It was usually quiet by midnight. I wouldn’t call it a dislike at all just an FYI. We loved it!

The room was really noisy. The listing warned about noise from the street. I didn’t hear any noise from the street, but I heard a lot of noise from the restaurant. The place was run so that there was no contact with any staff. There was no one to give information or answer questions. It felt really isolated and unfriendly.

Comfy room had everything you could want, including a little fridge. Clean as a whistle and great location, plus easy check in with the wonderful woman who also runs the restaurant. A great find!

Limited service. No breakfast, no daily room cleaning. A nice room in good location but the price way over the top. ("this is Ireland" is no excuse. A four star airport hotel in Dublin costs less per night)
