Excellent central location in the old town, spotlessly clean apartment, very helpful host Dada, and driver recommended (Milan) who both provided wonderful recommendations for restaurants locally.

The apartment is very centrally located and so very convenient. It is very clean and well equipped. I was really disappointed with myself not to have read the small print when I booked this property as there was a cash only payment required and I did not have the cash, just a travel card. There was no negotiation on this. There was a late night pizza bar right underneath the bedroom window which was very loud through to the early hours. We had no water at all in the apartment for the first two mornings and was told that this was due to works being carried out that we wish we had known about before we arrived. I found the apartment to be very charming and decorated nicely and the host was very obliging and let us arrive earlier than the 3pm time. The stairs up to the apartment were poorly lit which was difficult for us due to my husband being partially sighted so that is something to bear in mind. Overall this was a budget stay for us and it was good value for money and very well situated if you want to be central (and do not mind lots of noise).
There water situation was really annoying as was the noise from the pizza place below until at least 2am.

Excellent location in the heart of the historic city, just steps from the entrance to the fortress. The apartment is very spacious, and the kitchen is well-equipped and practical. A great place to stay.
Could have been cleaner. The kettle was dirty inside, so we had to use pots to heat the water. We accidentally dropped some coins on the bathroom floor and found an old bottle of shampoo under the sink. However, it wasn’t dirty overall.

Great location in the heart of Kotor old town - just steps from restaurants, shops and the main sights. The apartment was super spacious. Checkout was very easy.
Not responsive on Booking.com - had to reach out to the host via WhatsApp to get any information on checking in. I know they did have a policy that said it was cash only when booking but I think this could have been clearer once you booked (e.g. reminder that this is a CASH ONLY booking, the booking.com app also didn't display the fact that it was cash only properly). There were no cash free ATMs so had we had to pay high ATM withdrawal fees - had we had a reminder, we could have avoided this fee. Even though the space was huge, there wasn't a microwave so didn't feel like a fully functional apartment (a washing machine would have also been an added plus). As many people have mentioned, the towels were all discoloured and there was a lot of clutter (random assortment of stuff) in the drawers which made you feel like you were staying at someone's lived in apartment. The cost was also quite high which I think set up our expectations that this would be a very luxurious stay and we were quite disappointed. The apartment was also not very clean and we discovered mould in the shower.
