This is my 3rd time staying here, and yes, it needs some work and some TLC, but I've been very comfortable in all rooms, the beds are comfy, the rooms are warm, the showers are amazing and you're left to come and go without being pestered by the hosts which has been my experience in other places I've stayed. The location right next to the bus and train station and every takeaway you could possibly need is very convenient too.
As a lone female traveller, I would like better blinds on the windows because it is such a busy area that I felt a bit exposed, especially at night.

The friendly people you pick the keys up from in the shop, it was a little apartment not a room like I expected which was brilliant. The location was ideal.
They had not addressed the problems from when I stayed at the beginning of December. No forks or TV control. there was still fluff under the bed & settee and a bottle of water & a sock under the bed which was still there 3 weeks later. I'd only noticed this at the beginning of the month as I lost my glasses & was searching in case they had fallen under somewhere.
I was given a key for a room & when I went in someone had left a messy pile of sheets thrown in a heap on the settee & the mattress cover was half on & half off the bed, I then had to go back down the stairs & round to the shop to tell them & they gave me keys to room 4 so I went back up the stairs, walked in & someones' possessions were in there already, I went back down the stairs again & round to the shop & told them so they gave me the keys to the room I'd been in on the 6th December so I went back up the stairs again & that room was fine except there was still no forks or tv control which I didn't need but it shouldn't have been still like that on the 28th december. All this for someone who was nearly 68 years old & disabled. I still like the place & the people but they need to address certain things straight after I leave & not just leave it.

Great location. Bed was nice. Shower was nice.
Some suspicious stains on the couch. TV didn't work and when I spoke to a staff member he was very unhelpful. Blinds were broken and didn't stop the sun coming in.

The location was local to where was working this is the only good thing about it
There was limited cutlery 1 folk and 1 spoon 1 cup for a 2 person apartment wasn’t acceptable there was half the blinds missing and on contacting the number couldn’t get through to anyone for ages was then the issue with no remote control that worked and was told that this is sorry how it is again not acceptable the staff were not helpful and on emailing them my concerns were told no refund or help would be given extremely unprofessional they said had refurb recently but this didn’t not appear to be the case and have pictures to document this it wasn’t clean at all and things left under the bed from previous people. Have more photos would only let me upload 4 it was disgusting

Central location, really clean, comfortable bed, everything I needed & more than I expected including fridge, microwave, sink/drainer, kettle & hob. It was better than a hotel room with all these facilities.
I lost my glasses & whilst searching for them under the bed & settee it was a bit dusty/fluffy underneath these but everything else was more than perfect.

The host was not friendly and complained that the room, located in the centre of the city, had no window blinds or curtains. The host said it doesn't matter and refused the offer to change the room. The host was very unfriendly on the phone and spoke with disdain.
The room wasn't in good shape, and the customer service was very poor.

Absolutely nothing!
The most dirty, smelly, grungy and noisy place I’ve EVER stayed in.
Everything!
First I made a request for a ground floor room (as I am disabled). This was acknowledged by email, however, upon arrival I was given a 2nd floor room (I explained I had already requested a ground floor room and couldn’t accept this, but the shop-keeper just shrugged his shoulders and said “that’s all we’ve got”!
Being late at night and having already travelled 5 hours to get there, it wasn’t possible to start searching for alternative accommodation, so I managed to find two young guys who helped support / carry me to the top floor. In the morning I had no option but to slowly descend the two flights of stairs, on my own, by sitting on my bum, taking one stair at a time.
As for the accommodation itself, it was appalling. It was smelly and filthy dirty, in a very poor state of disrepair. There were two heavily stained sofas, a broken desk, dirty splatter marks all over the walls, broken blinds, a window that wouldn’t close, unclean, stained bedding, gaps in floors and a blocked sink. The TV didn’t work (probably something to do with the bare wires hanging down from it?). Then there was the noise all night from drunks shouting outside, booming music from cars and constant sirens throughout the night.
Basically a complete hovel, that’s not fit for purpose. You wouldn’t even want to let a dog stay there.

Everything broken, toilet seat, TV, windows, the one chair and radiator. . Pans dirty. Badly fitting windows let cold air and noise in. Very cold at night.
Nobody should stay here.

Convenience.
It wasn't very clean,in fact, l felt dirty even just sitting in the room, sheets and towel were clean, that was about all, under the cushions on the settee was food it was filthy, the fridge,l put milk in there went to make a cuppa the milk had turned icey, the cup in cupboard was cracked, the floor had cracked flooring in places which you could cut your feet on it,shower there was a smell of sewerage inside cubicle. l tried booking another hotel or B&B but everywhere was full,l really didn't want to stay there.

What should’ve been said was a waste of money
The stove was not working there was no remote control for the TV. What the hail no cartoon on the window absolutely wasted money.

Price wise it’s good apartment and location is perfect for public transportation. Easy check in.
Need basic repairs like curtains or blinds. Its bit hard to sleep during night because of street light and curtains didn’t work. Wire of toaster was damaged. Handwash liquid was expired
5.0 / 10.0
The size of the actual apartment was pretty big.
I wasn't aware I needed to give a £50 deposit, had trouble sleeping at night as there is a street light outside the window and the blinds didn't prove much use. The bed itself wasn't comfortable. In the morning we tried giving the key back at about 9.30 and the shop was closed, despite it was meant to be open at 9am.

Location - only good thing. 3min away from train station and near city centre
Filthy accommodation that must have never been cleaned. Traces of dirt and liquids on walls everywhere even bin lid; microwave in horrendous state. Bathroom… you can’t step in the shower too disgusting. No toiletries. Windows in the bathroom was broken couldn’t close it. Curtains in living room non existent either. TV cables not working. The worst flat I’ve ever stayed it shouldn’t be in the market very very concerning

After reading the many reviews about this place, I checked in expecting to have to clean the place before I unpacked, but I was pleasantly surprised, the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom were all freshly cleaned and usable, yes the place does need a deep clean and redecoration, but for £40 a night right in the city centre, you're not going to get 5 star luxury, the room was warm, the bed was comfy and the shower was more powerful than mine at home! everything was usable and I had a very comfortable stay.
The only 2 issues I had was with the guest upstairs singing from 1.30am until 6am, which kept me awake, the owner was very helpful when I called him about this.
The other issue was the blinds on the windows, they don't offer any privacy and no shade from the bright lights coming from the bus station opposite, the photo I included was taken at 2am.

Loved the location, right opposite the bus station and walking distance from the train station and metro tram and the Wolverhampton city centre. the wf-fi was free but you needed a password which was on the back of the door to the apartment.
Despite, the location, you do get plenty of noise from the trams, traffic and people walking past. The information on how to get the keys weren't included and while standing at the door, I had to ring the landline number I found on the plaque next to the door (mobile number on the booking.com website doesn't exist and there was no email address) and some came to let me in and gave the keys. Had to pay £50 cash deposit (no mention of this on the website) but did get it back when I left. My advice is when booking in and booking out, go tot he shop around the corner, which I never knew until someone at Apartment 1 told me..
The blinds weren't put up properly and had missing parts which was hidden in the op drawer of the chest in the bedroom. In the living/kitchen area 2 cupboards were head high with the TV just above and I think the batteries in the control which was discovered o the cupboards mentioned, need to be changed as the TV didn't work. One of those cupboards was different tot he rest of the kitchen and I thought it was an oven at first but I did find some spoons, mug and glass in that cupboard. The bathroom was tiny and barely space between the toilet and basin. The soap dis in the shower was broken and a bit jaggered. Glad I noticed that otherwise i might have been cut.
Overall, I think they could have given better information on how to contact them, give more information on how to book in and book out and definately some DIY skills.

It's closer to the bus ans train station and proximity to whatever you need to buy
No washing machine, no WiFi, some of the rooms not well maintained, curtains were dislodged and not replaced.
More needs to be done.

The size was great and the location was perfect
The blinds/windows could have been improved to provide a better quality ie in the bathroom the shower is opposite the window and the blinds were swaying a lot plus no privacy screen so you could be exposed
5.0 / 10.0
Location of the place was great, barely a 10 minute walk from the station with lots of shops and transport links nearby. The apartment was spacious, everything worked and had everything you'd need for a stay.
The instructions on how to access the place wasn't very clear, there was a pin code that I assumed was to be used on a lock box but it turns out you had to actually go into the Premier shop just around the corner. Also wasn't *very* clear that they take a £50 cash deposit. Upon looking it does say it on my confirmation email but still made me uneasy especially when I had to leave sharply and didn't have time for them to inspect the place before returning it. In the end, they just gave me it back without fuss or inspection so was slightly on edge for the stay and had spent a lot of time taking pictures of damage already present in case they tried to say I was at fault. Speaking of, there was quite a bit of damage to the property. Blinds left with only one blade so the place lit up like torch when the sun came up at 5am, the windows had all been left wide open as well (which I appreciate its the height of summer and the city was very hot) but with the bus station right outside as well as the mass amounts of light, it wasn't ideal. Floor tiles cracked in the bathroom, wood floor damage in the main area, the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling by a wire, the bed sheets were slightly stained although they did seem recently washed, just old probably. The hallway/stairwells were altogether unpleasant. Less than desirable odours, uneven stairs, narrow hallways, filthy carpets and further damage in general. Neighbours could be heard slamming doors, screaming arguments, which gave the place a vaguely unsafe feeling especially for a lone female traveller.

I like the location of the facility, right in the city centre. The rooms are not small, and the bed is ok.
The host needs to do a proper cleaning of the seats, and especially the staircase. An air freshener in the stairwell will help a lot.

Good location.
Our flight was delayed and we were late getting to the property. I checked the check in time once I could get connected to wifi and requested a later check in time, which was immediately denied. When I got to the property I tried calling and got no answer. Myself and my partner ended up strolling the streets in the dark, in the rain, in a foreign country trying to find another vacancy (we were attending for the Black Sabbath concert and everywhere was booked out). In between going to hotels and calling hotels I was still trying to get through to this property and after about an hour I got a text from them. They said they were closed. I asked if they could come meet me with the key, they were in no way accommodating. Eventually they suggested trying the key box at the front door and gave me the code. Luckily there was a key there or we would have been on the street for the night. I simple message through Booking.com to inform me where the key was and the code would have saved an awful lot of stress.
The property itself was just okay. It's in quite a noisy area, right across from the bus station and on the tram line and there was quite alot of noise from the nightlife. The bedroom blinds barely closed so the room was quite bright from the streetlights. Between the bed, the light and the noise it was quite hard to get a night's sleep.
I'd also advise - bring your own shampoo and shower gel as it is not provided, nor is a hairdryer.
We were provided with 2 towels only, no hand towel or towel for the floor. There was quite a large crack on the shower base, the shower doors let water out on to the bathroom floor and the shower head was too heavy for the stand so it couldn't stand up by itself.
Overall wasn't very clean or comfortable and customer service skills need improvement.

Nothing, wasn’t clean at all.
Literally smelt like urine. Communication was shocking. No curtains, vertical blinds had all fallen down. Considering it across from a busy bus station and there is no privacy.

Location behaviour not good

Loved how close it was to the train station and literally on the door step of the bus station too. The civic hall is with in 10 min walk.
We got what we wanted from the place and that was washed, changed and slept abit. Literally how close it was to the road, window wouldn't shut closed so we got the full brunt of a Wolverhampton city Rds traffic system all night. Didn't really sleep a consistent 30 mins before been woken up.

I don’t like the property
Sofa were very dirty . Left over food was in the Owen . Entire building smell very bad . Cracks on floor inside shower area and not hot water to bath for one day . Windows holding were broken . . Pay extra money and stay at some other hotel

Location only
No kettle; had to ask for one. No doors on cupboards or drawers in kitchen. Lavatory seat insecure. Tried to close window, it almost fell off. No hot water in shower. TV doesn’t work. Bad odour of sewage in bathroom and bedroom. And on arrival, a demand for £50:00 in cash “in case I wreck the room”….. I didn’t have any cash but offered to get the office to do a bank transfer which was declined by the man requesting it. When I met with colleagues the next day, two told me that they were still waiting for their £50:00 refund, every time they tried to get through, miraculously their calls weren’t answered. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever. The only saving grace was the poor woman doing the cleaning.

Its location was alright, thats it
The pictures lie. It wasn’t cleaned at all. If i could get a refund for the stay I would. There was 1 sofa not 2, cupboard door was hanging off, brown stains on the sofa, pubes and unwashed bed sheets, stained and sticky floors, damp mould in the kitchen roof, cracked shower floor which had been poorly covered up with sealant, toilet had pubes all over it, The fridge/Freezer still had beers and ice in it from the last stay, the blinds were hanging off and the one in the “living room” had a total of 3 strips left so privacy was non existent, the hall way too the room smelt of wet dog, our room smelt of stale piss. Poor. Dont add a cleaning charge of £60 if u dont clean it in the first place you scruff. £50 deposit *CASH ONLY* for anything damaged or broken which is ironic cause almost everything is damaged or broken in there as soon as we walked in. I left the place cleaner than when i first entered so your welcome. Poor management. I want a refund as I was sold an experience different to the one I seen online you scam artists.

We didn’t get clean towels and the bed is bad .

Location next to the train station. Close to the town. Bed was pretty comfortable.
No kettle. Kitchen tap didn't work, had to wash up in the bathroom sink. Mould had been painted over. No remote for TV, the signal was poor. WiFi wasn't great. Half missing blinds in bedroom. Very strong smell of sewerage. Stains in toilet. Room next door playing loud music till 5am. Stains and marks on kitchen wall.
