About this farm stay rental
Country house on a farm, it has one of the most spectacular landscapes of the Monteverde area overlooking the Gulf of Nicoya and plains of Guanacaste.
Comfort and tranquility with the best landscapes of Monteverde.
New country house, fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, cofee maker, toaster, blender, rice cooker, induction cooker, refrigerator, dishes, glasses and cutlery.
Two cozy rooms, both rooms have a double bed, one of this has also a single bed, bedside tables, lamps, sheets, pillows and blankets, plus a nice combination of colors in its decoration.
One bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, mirror, soap, bath and hand towels.
Room with an impressive view, sofa, breakfast bar, satellite TV, terrace and beautiful gardens.
The country house has space for parking inside the property.
Trails in the forest and beautiful gardens. Finca Alta Vista is dedicated to the production of milk, so when you stay at our house you can observe the cows and the milking process.
Entire house with terrace, parking and gardens, access to trails and the dairy.
Only members of the Vargas Badilla Family, Don Alfredo and Irma, their two daughters Gabriela and Jessica, and their son Diego live on the farm. In addition, a grandson Dylan and a granddaughter Paula with his father Roy.
We are always present in the property to meet and share with visitors.
Rural village, quiet and safe. Neighbors native to the area, very friendly people.
Close to adventure tourism companies.
Ballast road, accessible, preferably 4x4 cars.

This place was out of this world!!!! Our host was incredible, from chatting with us about Costa Rican culture and giving us a tour of the dairy farm to providing a spotlessly clean home with all needed amenities.
The photos do not do the view justice. Breathtaking beauty right outside of your front door, with butterflies and birds that could entertain you all day long.
This rental is about 20 minutes from downtown monteverde so you will need your own transportation. We loved the peace and privacy this provided.
If we return to monteverde, we would stay here again without hesitation.

This property is exactly as shown. When going you know you are out of the way here but there is a great little store that has almost anything you can think of and it is a couple minutes down the road. There are trails to wander on the property as well as
some super friendly dogs. For those adventurers wanting to feel like you are in the cloud forest this is it. Overall a great place to stay and I would return.

We were only there one night. It was really nice. We had a hard time finding it but Jessica was really helpful. The property is clean and has amazing views. It was gorgeous to look out over the valley. We were able to see to the ocean. Wonderful visit.

I am so fortunate to have found this beautiful piece of paradise! The entire property is absolutely breathtaking and I spent lots of time just looking at the view from my front porch. The house is brand new and spotless, and you can tell the owners put a lot of thought into every detail. I really enjoyed the tour of the dairy farm and the opportunity to see the milking process. The owners are always readily available but still give you lots of privacy. I did not have a car, but Jessica recommended a very responsive taxi service so getting around was never a problem, however once you get there you won't want to leave! There were some daily storms so I never did get to see the sunset, but watching the lightning was just as impressive. This is such a unique property and you will not be disappointed!
