Eco Finca Tucan

La casa es muy bonita, tiene todo el equipamiento para poder cocinar, las camas cómodas. Internet funciona muy bien. El lugar es muy tranquilo tiene un pequeño sendero que da a una mesa y dos bancos para quedarse ahí, leyendo, o lo que se quiera tranquilamente. Subiendo la cuesta está el pequeño pueblo de La Cruz con un colmado que te saca de un apuro. Los anfitriones estuvieron estupendos, e hicimos varias actividades juntos como ordeñar vacas y hacer queso. Gracias a Carlos y a Ofelia.

Lo que no me gusta en general en Costa Rica son sus carreteras, hay que invertir más en asfaltar, sobre todo en los pueblos.

Location was bucolic. Outside of the insanity of town, surrounded by jungle. Yet accessible (by car!). House and grounds were really cool; nice big kitchen, nice size bedrooms and bathroom. Clean and comfortable. And the owner even let us “help” to milk his cows!!!!

Definitely need a car to access the town and the biological reserve. But we had one, so it was totally cool.

Remote and away from town. Had ample supplies in kitchen

There were tiny little ants that came into kitchen if any food left on counter. Threw out a loaf of bread because they managed to get into package by hundreds. Also- something outside on roof would randomly say something. Could not understand Spanish, but it talked frequently during our 2 night stay.
