We were really searching for an affordable accommodation in the area so overall, we got what we expected for the price. The communication in the reception was good and they also recommended us a few places in the area. The breakfast was o.k. What was good was that you have a fully equipped kitchen there so you can cook there and store groceries in the fridge there as well. There is a nice place to sit outside as well.

We did not like the noise - it does not look like it in the pictures, but there is a main road right bellow the acoommodation and you can hear everything and it was difficult for us to fall asleep. Also, there is not much parking space, from what I recall, they had 3 spaces and if you do not fit there, you need to part on the side of the road. We also did not really like the behaviour of a lady serving us breakfast since it was quite unfriendly - it was actually the only unfriendly person we met during our 3 weeks' vacation in Costa Rica which is a shame. However, I think this place is really good for solo tavelers, friends and generally people who are on a budget.

The location was good, the room was a nice size

The laundry detergent used on the bedding had a very strong scent, might want to consider a less perfumed option

The place looks generally nice and has a good relaxing area. However it was too rainy and super windy and could not relax anywhere Bathrooms were clean Reception staff were friendly

The hotel chooses its own currency exchange rate . The price is in dollars and if you want to pay cash in the local currency they just charge you more. This happens in more places in CR but we found this rate one of the worst. The staff from the kitchen is very unhelpful and unwilling to try to help. We needed breakfast earlier the last day cus we were leaving and they refused to pack anything for us . We asked for anything , such as boiled eggs or fruit but they refused to help with anything. It could have been done just by throwing two eggs in the boiling water. The bedroom literally shakes when the wind is hard We saw scorpions around, this is not the hotels fault but just mentioning it here so others watch out
