Habitación grande, cama muy cómoda, cocina y comedor bien acondicionado, buena ubicación, lugar tranquilo.

Quizás que lo niños no estén jugando y gritando detrás de la habitación, pero es por poner algo... porque se entiende que son niños.

Enormous apartment (we booked the 8 person villa) and everything was lovely. Three bedrooms each with an en suite full bathroom made for a very comfortable experience for our family. The location is less than a 10-minute walk into Santa Elena’s core streets so we were never far from food, taxi service, or anything we needed. We LOVED stargazing off the back porch and hearing the magical wind at night. The kitchen was fully equipped and we made our kids smoothies each morning. Our host was kind and allowed us to do laundry and hang it to dry on her clotheslines.

The only thing that could have improved our stay was if there were screens on the windows and doors so that you could cool the house down at night without bugs coming in. Just a small detail. We liked everything else!

The lady in charge of handing over the keys and maintaining the complex was very kind and helpful. The room itself does the job and the view from the window is quite nice. There is also a supermarket conveniently located down the street, and the property is about a 12-minute walk from the center of Monteverde.

The description was a bit misleading - it’s presented like a hotel, but it’s more of a self-service accommodation with no reception or daily cleaning. The washing machine is communal for the complex and costs about $4 per kg, and it’s not available every day. The internet is average, the door lock can be tricky, and there are very few lights outside, which makes getting to the room at night difficult.
