This was by far the best place I've stayed in so far in Bali. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL - incredibly friendly, so accommodating, going up and beyond to help me through a few health issues while I was there. The room was so clean and a delight to stay in. Bit out of the way but --- you're staying north of Ubud so most things are. Rent a bike, you'll be fine. Massages were incredible, Resort was so beautiful but the staff overall were all absolute angels. Can't thank you all enough for my fantastic experience!!

We originally only booked a one-night stay at Senetan Villas, planning to use it as a quick retreat before moving on to our next stop in Bali. But within hours of stepping onto the property, we threw our itinerary out the window and extended our stay. Leaving this place was just impossible! From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality blew us away. Before we had even fully settled in, we were treated to a relaxing rose petal foot bath and a welcome foot massage. It was the absolute perfect way to wash off the travel fatigue and instantly set a tranquil, luxurious mood for the rest of our trip. The villa itself was breathtaking. Hands down, it was the most spacious luxury villa we’ve ever stayed in. Having our own private pool surrounded by lush greenery felt like a total dream, and the outdoor bathroom was an absolute highlight—there’s nothing quite like showering under the open Bali sky! A very cool feature was the hidden door to the bathroom. Foodies, prepare yourselves: the dining here is incredible. They grow most of their ingredients organically right on the Senetan grounds, and you can truly taste the difference in every fresh, flavor-packed meal. Do not miss out on the floating breakfast in your private pool—it was not only a gorgeous photo op, but genuinely delicious and so generous. We had a wonderful Balinese massage & also got the experience a profound energy healing session…I highly recommend it. The hotel also arranged for us to visit the healing fountains of the Tirta Empul temple which was a beautiful peek into sacred Bali. What truly makes Senetan magical, though, is the staff. They are amazingly kind, genuine, and attentive to every tiny detail without ever feeling intrusive. They went above and beyond to make us feel like family. If you're considering staying here, do yourself a favor: skip booking just one night and go ahead and book a full week. You’ll end up doing it anyway! We can't wait to come back.
