We only stayed one night on our way to Salzburg by train. The apartment is 15 min walk to the station so that was good. Simone was very nice and helpful. She is on site and will give you plenty of advice and assistance. The apartment was very clean with an outdoor patio.

We loved the communal courtyard—it was the perfect spot to relax with snacks and wine in the sunshine, outside of the apartment and away from the air-conditioning. The location was excellent, with a tram stop almost right out front. Trams ran every few minutes and got us to the city centre in just 3 stops or to Santa Maria Novella train station in 4 stops.
The apartment was not very clean. Walking around barefoot inside left our feet covered in dirt and grime—worse than after a full day in the streets of Florence. The bathroom had significant visible mould, which wasn’t great for my partner with a mould allergy, and the shower leaked water across the bathroom floor after each use. The breakfast was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend adding it for the extra cost: coffee was undrinkable, cornettos were not fresh, yogurt was too sugary to eat, and the offering was the same every single day (ham, cheese, bread, or cornettos). We quickly stopped trying to eat it and started heading into the city for fresh pastries and delicious coffee—which were actually cheaper! Based on our experience, Booking.com’s rating of 8.4 feels far too high; I’d give it a 6 at best.
