Great place for families!

Lovely clean apartment in a fantastic location in the Old Town of Boulogne. Sandrine was a great host, friendly and quick to sort out any problems. We had a meal at the restaurant in the courtyard which was fabulous and well worth the price, and there are lots of restaurants further along the street. Our boys particularly liked the old fashioned sweet shop and the ice cream stall! It takes half an hour to walk to the Nausicaa Aquarium by the sea front and there are beautiful beaches a short drive away.

The free parking is on the street, so be prepared to drive around to find a space to park, as it is rare to get a space outside the apartment!

Exceptional

Great location in the Old Town. Ideal for the many excellent restaurants nearby. The Gites had every facility.It was large and well maintained. Sandrine met us as arranged. I would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends

a gem hidden in beautiful old town

Very central location, beautiful and comfortable privet terrasse to enjoy own breakfast, dinner or just a drink. Kitchen well equipped. Free public parking just behind the Basilica. Delicious boulangerie is almost next door. And very kind owner! Definitely, I'd love to come back!

Everywhere in appartement are floor tiles, it is quite cold to walk without shoes. Don't forget your slippers ;-) If you come more than 2 persons, others will have to sleep in a living room

A lovely place to stay and perfect for a stopover on the way to catch the EuroTunnel home.

Received a text to agree arrival time and all went to plan.

The flat was above a restaurant which was a little loud due to a party celebration - as it was so warm we had to have the windows open so couldn't shut out the noise. Other than that a lovely place to stay in a beautiful location.

Exceptional

The hostess is warmful, punctual and available. The location in the historical center is great. The house is big, tastefully decorated, well organized and very comfortable, with separate rooms for children, separate toilet, a nice small courtyard and every desirable equipment. The region is outstanding both for outdoor activities and visits. We appreciated it a lot in this confinment/Covid period, even for Winter holidays!

It was very well arranged, everything went pretty smooth and we were very well served. The area is perfect, everything you need is around you.

The sea birds do make some noise in the morning, on the other hand staying close to the sea border can have this as a result and hearing animals is better than smelling industry:-)

A welcoming, warm, clean, and spacious loft apartment with beautiful views and lots of light.

Every aspect of this trip was wonderful. The apartment is spacious, well equipped, centrally located, quiet, private, and tastefully decorated. The reception and communication with the host and her colleagues was exemplary.

The communal lighting is temperamental and given the 3 flights of slight steps, this had some tricky moments. The internet access is not private, but commercial and compromises privacy and security, and is also very, slow.

Parfait pour une famille

Situation du logement au cœur de la vieille ville, en face de la basilique. La vue est magnifique. Logement très grand et confortable. Tout équipé avec un vrai four (ce qui est rare) et un lave-linge. Parking possible à proximité mais pas inclue avec le logement (le stationnement est gratuit dans les rues aux alentours). Une personne attendait sur place pour remettre les clés.

Le descriptif de l'annonce est un peu trop ambitieux car des services ou équipements sont notés présents dans le logement alors qu'ils sont juste disponibles à proximité (parking, spa, ...). Le chariot du lave-vaisselle est à remplacer car il sort de son rail. Toilettes un peu exiguës.

Très contente de mon séjour mais il est très difficile de trouver une place pour garer la voiture.

Endroit très calme.Appartement très agréable et très propre.Tout est organisé pour que ce soit facile à vivre.J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'aménagement intérieur qui donne un confort pour y vivre.

Je ne crois pas que les petits inconvénients pourraient être améliorés ( parfois une odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain ou le plancher du dessus qui craque ) car ce sont des bâtiments anciens dans la vieille ville , mais tout a été bien pensé pour rendre le séjour agréable.

Goede uitvalsbasis om de stad te bezichtigen.

De locatie is geweldig, midden in het historisch centrum, met zicht op de basiliek. Heerlijk bed in een ruime slaapkamer.

De inrichting was wat vreemd, weinig consistentie (bv schril contrast tussen mooie slaapkamer en beetje povere badkamer). Parkeren hebben we uiteindelijk toch op een betaalparking gedaan aangezien de straten vol stonden. De vloer voelde niet zo proper.

In de omschrijving staat aangegeven dat je gratis kan parkeren rondom de accommodatie. In theorie is dit waar, maar door de ligging (in het centrum) en de beperkte parkeerplaatsen in de buurt is dit niet realistisch. We moesten hierdoor op een parking gaan parkeren en dit was dus allesbehalve kostenloos.

Super appartementje

Mooie groote kamers en ruimte, prachtig uitzicht, het personeel was super vriendelijk, alles was zeer proper en stil bij ons op het appartement.

Er was weinig plaats in de keuken, het toilet was een beetje klein voor lange mensen en de vloer bewoog veel als je erop stapte wat luid was voor de mensen onder ons denk ik.
