Would definitely try to secure this lovely large apartment again. It does not disappoint. Well appointed and well placed in the city of Lucca; especially if you are attending the Italian language school.
A balcony would have been a plus but hardly a deal breaker.

Location and the facilities - we had everything we needed, just like being at home. We did some cooking; I had a space and good internet so I was able to work - and lots of storage space to make our 7 night stay comfortable.

location was good, we like walking and the walk to the train was around 15-20 mins (fast walk) easy to excess other tourist spots.
Weekends were very busy and very noisy from the bars and restaurants, pillows smelt and washing machine only did 600 spin which was very hard to dry things as there is no outside area to use. We were there for 2 weeks and only had 1 tea towel, 2 bath towels, 1 sheet set.
