Lovely hosts, clean rooms with a great breakfast

Greeted with coffee and cake. The rooms were very clean. There was a lounge to relax in and little extras provided. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, with yoghurt, eggs and breads. The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Way beyond expectations!

I was doing the Dutch mountain Trail and went a bit out of the way to stay there. It was worth it. The bed was amazing, the shower was really good, there were no places to eat nearby (and I was walking), but Gertjan and Brian just went above all expectations. I also needed to have breakfast a little but earlier than usual, and they helped a lot. I will definitely go back and take my husband to have breakfast at the amazing garden!

Overnight stay following concert in Maastricht, just a short drive away.

Inviting, clean, had everything we needed, comfortable beds. Hosts extremely hospitable. Wonderful continental breakfast served in a charming garden with home made jams & marmalades. Even offered the opportunity to make sandwiches for lunch. Dutch and Australian hosts answered every question promptly and with good humour. Highly recommend.

Excellent accommodations, highly recommended.

Gert and Brian were excellent hosts. They were very friendly, attentive, and willing to help with recommendations, making reservations, and providing information about the area. The breakfast was excellent, and the room quiet and comfortable. The garden was a real delight to sit in, and the town pleasant. We would highly recommend, and hope to return.

There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the rooms, which is a little challenging with luggage.

Charming B&B in an area perfect for hiking

I had a very pleasant stay at the Walnut Lodge B&B. The owners are very friendly; they made me feel welcome from the start. I had a comfy and clean room and bathroom. There's also a living room that the guests can use, where there's a fridge available for all guests and a TV set for those who'd like to watch TV in the evening. Guests are also free to sit in the garden. The B&B has a small parking lot for guests; finding a place to park my car was never a problem. Breakfast was delicious, lots of fresh food to choose from. The food varies a little from day to day, but it was great every morning. What's more, the owners invite you to take a packed lunch with you from the breakfast table. The surroundings are beautiful, Noorbeek is a pleasant village and the hilly area lends itself to hiking tours. Maastricht isn't far either. I even did a day trip to the High Fenns in Belgium, which are also within reach (provided you come by car). The B&B owners can also make suggestions on what's worth seeing and doing. Overall there's plenty of things you can do; it's definitely a good idea to stay here for a little longer.

A little gem with Great Servive and Great hosts!

You feel at home from the very moment you enter the Walnut Lodge. The hosts are very nice, the service is fantastic. The bed and bathroom are great. The breakfast has wide choice and they facilitate you preparing lunch and coffee for the rest of the day all complimentary. The village of Noorbeek is nice and has a few restaurants.

Gertjan and Brian made us so welcome. They were extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodation and garden and breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this property. They made our trip to Maastricht extra special.

Perfect home away from home.

From the first moment you enter the B&B you are welcome. It's very cozy and you feel immediately at home. Both gentlemen prove to be perfect hosts. The room was great with a comfy bed and a nice bathroom. Eveything was made available including bottles of water. The breakfast was more than you could dream of and the even included enough for a take away lunch. The hosts organised dinner for us and even drove us there and picked us up afterwards. We visites 11 different places on our roadtrip and the Walnut Lodge is top of our preferred addresses. We will certainly visit again.

Ontvangst en verblijf was zeer gastvrij, ontbijt was heerlijk, gezellig dorp met goed restaurant en bruin café

Het viel niet tegen, maar als verbetersuggestie (duurzaamheid) kan de hoeveelheid ontbijt worden beperkt door de avond vorig te vragen wat je wil, ik heb de indruk dat nu veel weggegooid moet worden.

Heerlijk weekend

Je wordt heel vriendelijk ontvangen en je waant je er meteen thuis . Kamer was heel ruim en alles was voorhanden. Volgende ochtend het uitgebreide ontbijt was top met alles erop en eraan. Les hôtes sont charmants, gentils et attentionnés. Le petit déjeuner était royal, servi dans un petit salon cosy. Les lieux sont décorés avec goût et le souci du détail. La literie est au top, j'ai rarement pu profiter d'un si bon lit.

Heel comfortabel bed, heerlijk geslapen in een rustige omgeving. Heel hartelijke gastheren. Fantastisch ontbijt !

Een paar kleine, maar al bij al onbeduidende dingen. Het schuine dak in de badkamer is soms onhandig voor grote mensen. En de steile trap naar de logeerkamer, met bagage is wat onhandig, maar voorts was alles dik in orde . Een aanrader !
