Offenburg Stay
room: very unusual as the shower room was opposite the bed - normal you might think but the wall was made of glass with a curtain instead of a door to the shower/toilet room breakfast: you select items from the cafe below, good selection, but all vegetarian which I had not realized when I booked location: pretty central
glass wall - would prefer one that turns opaque when you would like a little more privacy door to the shower/toilet room would be nice to have TV in the room would also be nice the air condition needs to be stronger

A wonderful, warm country inn with a bed that invited sound sleep
It was lovely to be in a hotel that felt apart of the community. People were friendly and it felt very authentic. A great hotel for the Black Forest.
Maybe the stairs with heavy bags but a lift would take away from it feeling very authentic so it isn’t a bad option.

Outstanding in every area
We stayed in the suite which was outstanding. Loved how the suite was decorated, the rooms were a great size and it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and a really good shower/bath. It has it's own restaurant and wine cellar (with a very extensive wine list!) and we had a delicious Cote De Boeuf, probably our favourite meal of our entire trip. The gentleman serving us gave us some great information about the local butcher who provides the beef and it felt like an experience rather than just a meal. It also has a cafe for the morning. The staff were very friendly and were always happy to help us. We only stayed here one night as a stopover, but we wish we had stayed longer. The location is also great, around 10 minutes from the train station, which is a 45 minute train journey from Triberg in the Black Forest.

Disappointing
Nice spacious room and easy location.
The party in the bar kept us awake until 3 am!! Breakfast was only available from 8:30.
