Beautiful historic home in a lovely residential neighborhood. Jan was a wonderful host.

Lage.

The flat is situated at the roof floor of an old and not-renovated house. The house has beautiful architecture but is totally un-renovated and probably in it's original state. The bathroom is with small "convenience" toilet and without heating; the children's sleeping room is also without heating (directly under the non-isolated roof!). When we arrived, heating was shut-off in the living room and master bedroom (it's February and it's cold despite the mild winter), doors to the living room cannot be closed.... Worse of all is that the place is simply dirty, there is dust (a lot of dust!) from last months in every single place (openly on the carpets, floors, furniture, hidden under the bed, everywhere you look....), mold of the windows (the window in master bed room cannot be opened because the hinge is broken)... after one very bad night in such a dusty place and an asthmatic attack (provoked by immense amount of dust), we could not stay any longer (one more night was booked) in a place of such poor hygiene. The owner did not bother to listen any of our reasons, I was insulted and called names and we left in a rush. I cannot understand any of the good reviews for this property.... please stay away from this place, you simply don't need the trouble, cold and dirt like this. My best thanks goes to customer service of booking.com, I reported the property and booking.com customer service reacted fast. I was granted a refund for the second night that we did not use. Instead we found a lovely accommodation asap in vicinity and enjoyed the rest of our short holidays.... Offering people a dirty un-renovated accommodation without heating in all rooms/bathroom is a no-go for more than 150 Euro per night!

The neighbourhood was nice and quiet. The living area was very spacious and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful.

The accommodation itself was noisy when people were moving around or closing doors (the doors were very creaky). Heating was not available in the bathroom nor in the 2nd bedroom booked. The 2nd bedroom also didn't have a door lock. Because of this we didn't feel comfortable when sleeping at night and during the day had to move all personal belongings into the bedroom that did have a lock.

The host is very welcoming and attentive, really made us feel at home, the room is very spacious as well as the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay completely and definitely a place we would recommend to anyone.

The most gracious and informative host. I had a delightful breakfast with him.

We enjoyed our stay. The location isn’t very good. It is an old house with lots of creaks. But Jan was welcoming.

Vriendelijke ontvangst en de hulp / begeleiding via de telefoon door wegopbreking naar het pand. Ruime kamer dat is altijd fijn. Waterkoker, koffiezetapparaat glazen en kopjes etc. aanwezig op de kamer.

Het toilet op de gang en ook de badkamer, niet aaneensluitend aan de kamer zelf. Niet fijn als er eventueel mensen de trap opkomen. De verwarming tikte bijna de hele nacht. Warme kamer, het raam kon niet echt op een ventilatie stand. Gehorig je hoorde mensen in de ander kamer praten en hoesten.

Prachtige villa met fijne atmosfeer. Zeer aardige gastheer

Frühstück wurde auf Anfrage super zubereitet. Es war alles da, was das Herz begehrt.

Wat een prachtige kamer in een prachtig pand! En het bed was enorm en lag echt heerlijk! Ik ben zelf 1.80 en lag naast mijn snurkende man, maar genoeg ruimte om weg te rollen ;-) Verder was de gastheer top!
