Great location. Breakfast was served late, front desk staff was unavailable when needed (check in & checkout) and also in the room fixes where needed.

The location was very good only a short walk from Rotterdam Centraal train station. The decor in both the room and common areas was quirky but this was expected from the photos online. The breakfast was reasonable but the location layout meant that there was limited seating adjacent. The staff were really friendly. However my main criciticism was that I had an issue with my door lock which at one point I was unable to open the door or even get the key out. I left it with the evening staff person whilst I went for an evening meal. When I returned I somehow managed to open the door with difficulty but left it unlocked overnight in case of any further issues. Apparently she tried to report this to her manager whilst I was out but could not get hold of him. I don't know if there was a spare alternate room as I was not offered one but thankfully this was my 2nd night of 2.

Service upon check-in was excellent. The room was decent and very clean. I loved the personal welcoming note on arrival. It may be noisy at times due to all the wood, but I had a wonderful sleep. Very conveniently located near the station, so good for an early train.

For the price it’s what I expected. Staff are never at the front desk and always have to press a button. This is both inconvenient and unsafe. Lots of stairs and was unable to use the lifts. The decor is funky and unique for sure but a little worn out and the room itself was as bare and basic as can be.

An interesting place to say, quirky to say the least. I stayed 3 nights and slept very well. Only issue was room is not serviced daily, but you can request additional towels etc. Nice to have access to free coffee in the morning. A big plus for me was the proximity to the train station and quiet location. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming

Pros: Excellent Location: Just a 5-minute walk from Rotterdam Centraal Station — very convenient for travelers. Unique Common Area Design: The lobby and shared spaces have a creative, stylish design that stands out and adds character. Cons: No Elevator & No Assistance with Luggage: There is no elevator, and no staff were available to help with luggage. This could be difficult for guests with large suitcases or mobility concerns. Plumbing Noise Issues: There was a loud noise in my room every time someone flushed a toilet, possibly due to piping problems. This was especially disruptive at night. Breakfast Not Worth the Price: I didn’t purchase the €15 buffet breakfast, but I saw what was offered — and honestly, it didn’t look like it was worth even €10. I’d recommend skipping it and finding better options nearby. Unexpected Extra Tax: Although I paid CAD $24 for taxes and fees through Expedia, the hotel charged me an additional €9 (for two nights) as a separate city tax. I tried to dispute this with Expedia, but was told that the $24 did not include local city taxes. I was not happy with the explanation and want to warn others booking through Expedia — be aware that extra charges may apply upon arrival, even if it seems like all taxes are included upfront.

Nice hotel with a lot of nice designer decor. I had a very nice and friendly welcome. Unfortunately breakfast only starts at 8am even during the week, which is really surprising and is not trivial to find when you book your room. I wasn't offered anything before 8am that even though I paid for breakfast in advance. The internet in my room didn't work all night, and mobile connection wasn't great either.

I wokeup with insect bites in all part of my body, arms, legs, hands, neck and shoulder. I am allergic and the are all red, itching and with small blisters. I had to take steroids and antihistamine. Beware!

Didn’t know what to expect. The promotional pictures are fairly accurate in visually describing what you get. We were intrigued and willing to experience the “Not Hotel” … which is a fairly apt description. The hotel is very close to the Train station, clearly a positive and is visible when you exit the station and walk a few meters. The non existent lobby seems cramped and comprises a check in counter, snack shop, and morning breakfast buffet. There are several areas where you can eat. Many of the rooms seem to be lofts converted from high ceiling warehouse space. Our room had no external widows but had a small balcony that opened onto an internal seating area. Cute, but not practical. The stairs to get to the room are steep and narrow and awkward if you carry any larger pieces of luggage. Our room was small but ok given the location but had many sloping ceilings that required careful movement so as not to hit your head, particularly at night. There was a nice shower with good hot water. Wifi was weak and interrupted at times. All told this was a nice experience, and good for a one night stay, but impractical and overpriced compared to other comparable accommodation in the area

Room and sparce and floor was dirty. Kevin Bacon restaurant in the hotel was good but there was not much else around. Received inconsistent information from the front desk for late checkout.

The property had a power issue for two nights in a row in half the hotel. This meant that the electricity wasn't working in my room. For two different nights, it was 30 plus degrees all week. The hotel had no fix for it the night of or the night after. They also didn't have any options to even bring a fan up to my room so that I could sleep properly.

Easily the coolest hotel I have ever stayed at. Truly a unique design, lovely staff and great drinks in the attached cocktail bar. Next time I visit the city my friends and I will definitely all try to stay here

The hotel was really unique and the service was top notch, however, bear in mind that the rooms are not sound isolated and the corridor might be noisy sometimes, so recommend having earplugs with you if you're considering this place

The receptionist was very welcoming and spend time to give extra suggestions on what sight to see in the city. It made it a very memorable experience. Thank you and also attentive breakfast crew.
