The hotel is located on a quiet street. Our room has a balcony, the balcony overlooked a quiet courtyard. The bathroom was clean. towels were changed every day. The bathroom has a small hairdryer, hand soap and shower gel.

Poor sound insulation between rooms. The front door of our room is an ordinary interior door. in front of our room there was a toilet with a shower for the other rooms, which did not have a private bathroom. And we've all heard what people were doing in that bathroom 😅

The host was very polite and positive, we were able to check in immediately upon arrival and they served us a nice omelette and a toast but unfortunately this is the only positive thing about our stay.

Unfortunately, our room wasn’t very clean, there was dust everywhere, the bed didn’t have a warm blanket (only a thin blanket which was on the bed in pictures). Most importantly, the bathroom toilet was dirty, the toilet cleaner had feces on it, the sink had hairs all over, and the shower floor was dirty with yellow residue so we were unable to use it.

Super friendly, peaceful, and super clean

Marko and his daughter Kiara were lovely hosts, friendly and welcoming and really helpful letting us store our bags, getting the room ready so we could check in early, and giving us kitchen roll to put inside my trainers to dry them out from the rain. The room was spacious and absolutely spotless. The bed was really comfortable and fresh, the room was quiet, and unpretentious. Absolutely lovely. Will definitely visit again next time we come to Rotterdam. Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked (to perfection!) with lots of choice.

The best omelet I've ever had and the softest bed

It was hard to find anything bad about this hotel! The comfortable bed, the delicious breakfast (the best omelet ever), and Marco's friendliness! It was especially quiet at night, which allowed for a good night's sleep. On my last day, I had a long commute before check-out, so I didn't think I'd be able to have lunch. I asked if I could take my leftover breakfast with me, and Marco even provided a plastic bag so I could safely take it with me. I would definitely come back for the breakfast, if only for that! Next time I go, I hope my Dutch has improved so I can have a conversation in Dutch with Marco!

Pleasant surprise

The stay was really pleasant in this small typical hotel. Marco is a great host who makes you feel at ease in an informal setting that is nonetheless clean and well organized: The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

Everything! From the warm welcoming, rooms really big and comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was served by the hosts and it was really cozy. They assured a good accommodation. Really recommend it!

Budget B&B in safe neighborhood with good breakfast

Inexpensive inn with nice breakfast and staff, in safe neighborhood that is walkable to the center and fairly near a metro stop. Compact room shares a clean bathroom but has its own hairdryer, sink, frig and microwave.

Wonderful owner, excellent stay at a good price.

The owner, Marco, is a delight. He was extremely friendly and helpful with advice for a walk to see the city. You can tell he loves his work and made my stay great. Fantastic breakfast with options including a ham and cheese omelet made by Marco himself. Good sized room on a quiet street, with a mini-fridge, which was a nice touch. It was a great value as well and I will definitely stay there again next visit to Rotterdam.
