Ortigia Boutique Palace

Newly refurbished palazzo located in the historical center of Ortigia. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was great and we loved the hotel cafe

The hotel is located in a pedestrian area, only a 5 min walk from the parking lot (take care not to enter the ztl area and pay at the machine in the parking not to a guy who may approach you). The hotel reception was in a separate building which has limited opening hours. Our room was on the 2nd floor up some steep stairs, our room was not ready when we arrived and we found our luggage in our room when ready. The room is big, we had two bathrooms, a separate room and a bedroom for 3 persons and access to a terras on the roof. There is no breakfast included but in the morning they have a small cafe on the corner where you can have a small Italian breakfast. The location is excellent for all activities you would like to do close to the center.

Just to know building has stairs no elevator.

The host is an extraordinary man! Extremely kind and helpful. I loved the building and the location, in the heart of Ortigia, walkable to every part of the island.

Next time I will upgrade to a better room. The prices are so good that this won't be a problem.

Recent renovation of rooms . But there are only rooms in an old building.

Location in a decrepit area of old Siracusa. It wasn´t by any means a 'Palace' or a 'Boutique' as the name states. There wasn´t any street number 138 in the Via Dione, the point where the 'Palace' was supposed to be located. The reception was closed by 17:15, time of our arrival, and the assistance by phone was very poor and rude by one of the assistants who started shouting!
