Beautiful building in fantastic location for ortigia. Lift for wheelchair was excellent. Air conditioning was superb. Owner was charming and helpful

Slightly outdated plumbing

Le personnel très sympathique, même s’il ne parle pas français, ils nous ont bien renseigné. La décoration qui est très belle. Et l’emplacement idéal pour découvrir le vieux Syracuse

Du fait de l’ancienneté du bâtiment, mais c’est ce qui fait son charme, l’insonorisation n’est pas au top.

Great location, charming ambiance, room was clean and comfortable, excellent, helpful staff, (Sara was especially personable and resourceful), good AC in brutal temps outside. Breakfast was adequate and convenient. Would be interesting to see photos of the building from years ago and more history about it!!

The ac doesn't really work in this hotel , similarly to most of the places in Siracusa. It was so exhausting to be that hot all the time without any relief from the terrible heat of August. The building is very old and not so well maintained, it was difficult to open the curtains, the shower head was broken, the beds weren't comfortable. Some of The rooms in second floor doenst have proper windows , and the women from the front desk who were great - but wasn't always there to solve problems. So all and all and mainly because of the heat . It wasn't a pleasant stay.
