Would love to stay again

Clean room and common space, fast WiFi, stable hot water, great infrastructure, nice fellow tourists, awesome activities for the guests, entertaining events in the bar next door for those who like them.

When it’s too windy outside the door may create some additional noise. But the property provides earplugs.

Reception staff are very rude. I got scolded by a lady because my card didn’t want to work to open my door, but they never reactivated it. They change the code every Monday and if you ask for it you get scolded. If you greet them they ignore you and if you ask questions they talk to you like you’re supposed to know the answer.

Budget friendly, safe location

I've stayed in hostels in Europe before that were all girls and generally felt safe in an all girls dorm but this time decided to stay in a mixed dorm. My sister and I enjoyed our stay, we had no issues, the dorm was clean, quiet as well as the shared bathroom. We met people from other parts of the world and shared conversations. There was a pub downstairs that was a great place to socialise and a pool area to chill and relax. Location is pretty dope, there are great coffee shops in the area, opposite the stadium and the building had good security. The room was available early and we were allowed to check in early which was exciting. My sister and I felt safe there

The noise from the pub would go off at midnight so if you wanted to have a relaxing night in, the noise would keep you up but other than that, great stay. I should add we were on 2nd floor.

Happy to recommend this place

Safe and walkable area (even at night) with lots of amenities. Big dorms with lockers for things. Very clean. Good common area and kitchen. Bar downstairs if you want it. Activities through the hostel if you want.

It’s not super social so hard to meet others if you’re not doing things through their activities or in the bar.

Great for a overnight / few nights stay. Close to V&A and Promenade.

Location was great was able to walk everywhere we needed to go I was concerned it maybe noisy but it wasnt. They were super acocomdating with me arriving early, checking in and returning later for the Key to the room.

Booking.com has it has having parking but there are only 5 spaces - would be concerned next time if I booked it and wasnt able to get a spot. YOu do ahve to park on a public carpark and then check in to get your space and discover the entrance to the parking lot BUT it is very secure once you are parked and close to the rooms.

Great security and location, good amenities, much more spacious inside than it looks from the entrance, and towels were provided.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Accommodation was spacious and clean and amount of bed space is gnerous. A good sized kitchen with plenty of cutlery. I liked all of the activities provided on every day of the week.

Situated 5mins to V&A Waterfront was the reason i chose Never@Home. Easy access to supermarket Spar, coffee shops, restaurants. The hotel is so cozy, calm and clean. Breakfast is delicious. What amazed me is a well equipped kitchen area for guests so you can cook ur food or simply heat and eat. Staff are so welcoming. David is a darling for taking good care of me. Never@Home actually makes u feel at Home..

Quiet and comfy overnight at Green Point

Great room, lovely staff, Good and quiet bedroom.

It was located a bit further than expected from Green Point, so I ended up taking taxis to go and come back, which was not a big issue

The staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen was big and well organized. The area was a safe and good location with shops, grocery stores and restaurants in walking distance. The dorm beds and duvet was comfortable! Also a very secure accommodation.

Reception staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Walking tour to the market was good. Location is good.

The lady at reception who checked me in was not very informative/helpful, with no information about the hostel, facilities or tours. I was made to fill in a "pre-check in" form while stood at reception after a 12 hr flight, only to be told I can do it later once i completed it. . During my stay, the crowd was young, and the vibe left much to be desired, but I guess that's not on the hostel. Loud music plays till late, so ideal if you're a light sleeper.

A very pleasant experience! I love this place

This establishment is super clean, spacious, plenty of spaces to do your work. Very close to stores & restaurants, easy to get around and uber to the waterfront & other tourist attractions/landmarks. The staff are great and very helpful! Very well-run! Nice in-house bar with great drinks and pub-grub.

Perfect for a solo traveler! I am a 28 year old female and felt safe in the surrounding area. The facilities were just what I needed and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had booked a room for myself which was lovely. Not too far from V&A waterfront either. I would definitely stay here again.

It has good facilities and spaces to share, and if you need private spaces, there are also good options.

I travel alone and I don't really mind noise too much. I stayed for 3 days, but it was the weekend. You could hear a lot of noise from other rooms. All three nights I woke up to the reception staff banging on the doors to get them to stop making noise and shouting "RECEPTION" at full volume. It was really quite difficult to sleep but it was the weekend.

Very professional staff. Always doing their best. Comfy bed and good kitchen. Friendly bar, tasty food. Very clean and secure.

Sorry that smoking rules had changed (since last I was there), only by the pool that was open 08-20. Not nice hanging out at the street smoking, or at the backyard at the car parking by the garbage thins. Ok, smoking is a bad habit, that I had for 66 years!

Awesome stay at Never at Home 5/5

I think there is a lot to like in this place. The layout of the hostel allows for outside chill spots, inside reading/working spaces. The restaurant/bar Randy Warthog is actually really good and fair priced, specially considering it's a travellers hostel. Location is great as well and of course the best are the staff, who are attentive, nice and genuinely caring and friendly to guests, an atitude that is contagious to the vibe of the hostel and reflects on how guests interact as well.

Not much to say really, some rooms can a bit louder than others but that's just unavoidable in hostel or communal living (not that I had any problem sleeping or otherwise).
