We had a private room, which was on a level of a hotel. Quiet, air conditioned, etc. In the common areas and the bar it's easy to meet people, the hostel organizes daily activities. The location is close to bars, restaurants, walking distance from the pretty port area. There's a big supermarket just next door. Best beaches are further away, but taxis are very cheap.

Very clean and respectful. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly, beds are made up, rooms cleaned etc. Probably the best shared place you can stay at in the country.
They charged me R250 for the conference room - the rate of an entire group per hour where as I was one person for 25mins. I felt this was very unfair when I had already booked a 2 week stay and the room was open. Meaning the facilities on the property were not free of charge and for use to their guests. I felt this was a rip off way of making money.
