Authentic Bali experience

This place was amazing! Tucked away among the rice paddies, this massive property was a small little haven getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bali. The staff were welcoming, kind, and really attentive, and helped me plan day trips and hire a scooter. The owner even encouraged me try some Durian... not for me. As a solo traveller, it was great to slow down, enjoy the pool, eat good food, and read a book. The place is a short walk from a main stretch of local Warung and a convenience store with everything you could need, and there is plenty of nature to see in the surrounding hills. Peaceful, comfortable, and affordable - I had a blast here.

The dining area was under renovation, which didn't prove to be much of an issue as I just ate in my room :)

Hidden gem in the rice fields

Fantastic atmosphere of a countryside with picturesque villas in the middle of the rice fields. Spacious rooms, great swimming pool, a lot of activities you can choose from. Truly beautiful place!

As this is the countryside, be prepared to bear with some insects entering your room.

Good villas in Munduk area

Price- quality: top Friendly staff, good restaurant, good breakfast. Swimming pool is nice. You walk yourself to the waterfall. (1.5km), most of the time you are alone there.

- shower could get some upgrade, (waterflow and temperature is good) - as mentioned before, there are prayers in the morning, but atres villa provides earplugs

The staff were friendly and help us with arranging a taxi and renting a scooter. Location is good and really quiet. Breakfast was good.

The room it was a bit dirty, we had big ants everywhere in our bathroom, but overall it was not something that can ruin our stay. :)

Good low budget option for the Monduk area

This is a 1-2 star simple property, dated facility, with a 5 star heart and service. The prices are low! The food is excellent and outstanding staff and management.

the staff is amazingly helpful and ready to book a cab for an excursion in less than 5 minutes. The swimming pool is amazing. the view on the rice paddings is spectacular.Perfect stay to explore Munduk waterfalls even if you cannot go by foot. best brekfast ever!

you have to keep in mind that you will need a motorbike or to book a cab (cheap and easily though) to explore the surrunding area.

Perfect

In my two months spent in Bali, this was perhaps my favourite accommodation. All the staff were really lovely, and they are a credit to the Villa. The Villa is located in a beautiful area and is surrounded by mountains, trees and rice fields. The swimming pool was excellent and a lovely place to relax. As was the balcony outside my room. My room was an upper room and was closest to the swimming pool. I thought the wooden floor, features and furniture were beautiful and my bed was soft and comfortable. The bathroom was massive. I spent Nyepi (Silent Day) here, and the staff went the extra mile to ensure we could take part fully in the pre-Nyepi parade the night before. Breakfast was nice. Thank you so much to all the staff for making my stay so enjoyable and I hope I will be back one day.

A very lovely stay, would definitely recommend!!

Atres Villa is truly a gem! Hidden in the middle of rice fields it provides a beautiful, intimate and peaceful experience of what Bali’s inner land has to offer. We stayed for 1 night and they upgraded our room to rice field view free of charge. Upon arrival we were given free coffee and tea (which were available too us throughout our stay free of charge as well) and a balinese pancake which was delicious! Our room was beautiful, very big, clean and the bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was one of the nicest we had in Bali. They also have a very lovely pool. Their restaurant is nice as well, delicious fried rice (they happily met my request of a vegetarian meal) and breakfast was very good and very filling as well! The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

It was not a problem for us, because we really craved some quiet time, but it is a bit further away from Munduk, so renting a scooter is a must if you want to go there. They offer the rental as well:)

Paradise is an understatement

Everything was just outstanding! The room was huge, super comfy beds, tastfully decorated, big balcony west facing with stunning view on the garden, beautiful swimming pool area, so relaxing surrounded by the sound of nature. Breakfast was very good and well balanced. Staff is adorable! Attentive, professional, helpful and very sweet! Scooter available for rent and balinese massage also available. I would have stayed here for months! The area is incredible... Breathtaking views, impressive waterfalls, temples, picturesque villages, hot springs...so much to do! A very memorable stay <3

We travelled from Sanur and were so relieved to have a peaceful night at Villa Atres. They made plain food our children loved and we were really comfortable. Such a great break from busy roads on our long journey NW. We walked to the waterfall and swam in the pool.

chilling in the fice fields

This family run place is a true gem! The location is beautiful (in the middle of rice fields)the food is excellent. Our room with balcony was big, the sunsets are stunning! Also, the pool is big and beautiful. The bathroom was big and there was a little leakage near the bath, which didn’t bothered us at all. That said: the staff is so friendly and they do everything they can to help you to have a good time. This, in our opinion, beats every unpersonal five star resort. They adviced us to walk to a nearby waterfall. That was amazing, we walked through the ricefields and were the only people at the waterfall. We had a nice swim there. We also rented a scooter, to explore the area. Highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay

Accommodation was really nice, clean and affordable, we had everything we needed. Owner even rented us scooters for driving around. You have nice views of rice paddies around the property. They also have a restaurant with great food. Really liked the local food they provided. Friend tried burgers too and they were good.

The Service is exceptional and friendly plus helpful. The place is very Clean. The bed linen are really soft and comfortable. Breakfast is great with many choices. Also we tried the Restaurant for dinner and the food is great. We also enjoyed the ricefield view and the big Pool. Wifi was always working and strong. When you check in you will get a welcome drink and snack.

The only thing to mention: The walls are very thin and you hear the people talk who stay in the same house.

Très bel hôtel dans les rizières et la jungle de Munduk ! Calme et agréable

Le cadre top +++. Perdu dans les rizières. Au calme. Les villas sont très bien, écartées les unes des autres. Massage balinéens pour 150k IDR très bien ! Le restaurant le soir est très bon. Personnel gentil, serviable, qui organise les activités autour à la demande.

Un peu loin de Munduk pour les balades des cascades (12min voiture, 1h20 à pied) et des Twin lake nécessitant soit de louer des scooters directement à l’hôtel soit de prendre leur voiture avec chauffeur (250k IDR À/R) mais très bien organisé et se fait facilement.

Niet echt fantastisch...

Mooi zwembad en vriendelijk personeel. Wij hadden een kamer met uitzicht op de rijstvelden en dat was ook wel echt prachtig. Nette slaapkamer verder. Lagen oordopjes en slippers klaar bij binnenkomst.

We zijn eerder weggegaan (hadden 2 nachten geboekt maar hebben er maar 1 geslapen) vanwege de gekke sfeer die er hing. De badkamer was nog het ergste, durfde er niet alleen naar binnen hahah. Was ook erg sfeerloos en geen warm water.

Geweldig plekje!

Hele lieve mensen, heerlijk eten. Prachtige bij de rijstvelden en watervallen. Echt verrast door de mooie natuur, de rust en het fijne plekje. We waren op doorreis maar hadden best nog een nacht willen blijven.

Je kunt hier alleen met een taxi komen, maar daar hebben we rekening mee gehouden.
