Was quite away from everything
There was nothing not to like about it

It was a perfect location, quiet but still only a short walk to the centre. It was clean, the bungalows were spacious and the staff was really friendly and helpful.
I can only recommend staying there for a relaxing time.

It's a very lovely cottage. There is a large rice field right in front of the room, and every day I can enjoy watching the farmers at work while drinking coffee on the porch in front of my room. It was also fun to see the scenery change every day with the rice harvest and other tasks.
The shower water flow was low so I think it should be improved.

Friendly staff, who were happy to help.
Location was perfect for me, as it was out the way but still close enough to the township and bars
No faults as such, but I did get disturbed by wildlife.. but this is Bali. What do you expect ha ha

Location was fantastic, peaceful, with a gorgeous pool. The staff were amazing; friendly and nothing was a problem for them. The staff take extra care to make sure the grounds are immaculate. Daily room cleaning is very thorough - some of the best I have experienced.
I think the owners of the property need to spend some money to upgrade the furniture and facilities. There were terrible termites in one of the villas that my children stayed in and the toilet had a few issues. A new room was provided the next morning.

Very nice room looking out to the rice fields, clean pool, short walk to restaurants.

With only 5 units, the hotel feels intimate, private and begs an award for “hidden gem” in Lovina. Though our room looked a bit tired and in need of some superficial repairs, we enjoyed the modern interpretation of Balinese style. The semi open bathroom with lush foliage peeking in under the rafters, became a constant reminder of being in a very special place. Second only to the view of the rice paddy, from the comfort of a wicker chair on your own front porch!
The staff were so attentive - from the cool towels and welcome beverage at check in, to the fond farewells at check out.Everyone wanted to do their very best to ensure that we were having a wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious and tailored to our dietary preferences. We enjoyed the Monday evening bbq by candle light - the chef making magic with Tempe and a host of vegetables, fire roasted to utter perfection.
The nocturnal creature orchestra, became a distant lullaby for us to fall asleep to.
The weather is a harsh opponent, so we understand that it must be a challenge keeping painted surfaces pristine. Having said that, some minor maintenance could restore the original beauty. Paint flaking off in bathroom.
Faded black duvet cover, sheets and sofa cover, gave the room a dated and worn appearance. Cream colored lamp shades needed refreshing.

Situated amongst rice terraces. Beautiful villas of only 5 in total. Easy walk into town. 5 minutes to best Italian restaurant outside Italy. Lovely pool, beautiful staff!
Nothing, could do with a bit of maintenance.

We only stayed 1 night, but the place was beautiful, situated amidst rice fields. Big, clean villas with a very nice half-outdoor bathroom. Staff very helpful. Location is like 5-10 mins walk to beach.
Be mindful of the vegan menu - I was served cheese (which they quickly fixed so all was good)

I have been to Pandawa several times. The size of the property with only 5 villas gives it a personal feel.
The pool adjacent to the rice paddies is another unique touch.
The breakfast is great and the staff are professional and friendly.
The staff do their best to make the stay a good one. However, there is a club down the road that plays loud rock music each night and sometimes until 3 am.
The rooms themselves are lovely, but they are starting to age, and some maintenance is now required .

The villa was clean - bed comfortable and spacious with nice veranda .
Outside space was well kept
Pool was not clean looking - water looked green
Restaurant for dinner was limited and you needed to pre book for some dinners - not explained on check in.

This is the perfect property for couples who are looking for a serene place to relax or who are interested in snorkelling, trekking or visiting sights in the highlands.
There are 5 independent villas nestled among rice fields, a small restaurant and a beautiful pool with sun beds. There is a path along the rice fields which leads to the main road with a great Italian restaurant called Tanda, the supermarket Pepito that stocks Indonesian and Western foods and drinks, and ATMs - cash only at Pandawa Village.
Don’t worry about the beach, which is close. Lovina is not the place for a beach holiday.
Staff is super friendly at Pandawa Village. The villas are spacious and sparkling clean. We also enjoyed the food here, and thought it was better -except Tanda- and cheaper than in most other places.
A couple of small maintenance issues in our villa.

Very large room, with a window bench that fit both our large suitcases which was great.
No milk provided for tea/ coffee, and only Bali coffee- but a plunger provided which was nice.
The cleaning was beyond expectations, the best house keeping in any hotel room I’ve ever stayed- Thankyou.
Breakfast was simple - we chose eggs on toast. The omelette with veggies was my favorite, very tasty
Pool was very nice, especially in the rain!
Cute white dog - unsure if it’s a resident, but was there every day.
Amazing location next to the rice paddy’s, there’s something very calming about rice paddy’s.
A short 20 minute walk into the main streets of Lovina - some great restaurants around, but the best is Tanda pizza - on the same road s the back entrance of this villa - Italian chef/owner David Tanda - the best pizza, calzone and pasta I’ve ever had! Authentic and so tasty, and an air conditioned restaurant section. We ate there twice!
Close to Lovina beach
A quick easy scooter ride to do a dolphin tour (try to find an ethical company that don’t join the hundreds of boats, but go further out and don’t chase the dolphins as much) - most companies will pick you up and do you back.
Large outdoor bathroom, with an adjustable shower head, and good water temp. Also some resident frogs!!
Great hanging space and a lot of hangers available.
A comfy patio area to enjoy a drink out the front of your room.
A very comfortable stay, we loved our 3 nights here!
It was my husbands 50 th birthday while we were here, and the beautiful cleaning staff did a flower arrangement on the floor which we loved
Air conditioner was ok, but not the greatest, but we asked for it to stay on all day so that when we returned the room was cool- otherwise it took a few hours for it to feel cool inside. We struggled with Bali’s heat and humidity, but with good air conditioning we love it.
Can only pay for breakfast and snacks with cash, or wise transfer - no cards, which meant we couldn’t eat at the restaurant other than our free included breakfast.
Only 1 umbrella available for us to use, and it was a small umbrella, we had to walk out for dinner one night, and it was bucketing down in a huge thunder storm, so we got very wet walking.

The stuff was very polite and caring. The garden is beautiful, it is in the rice field. The houses were great.
The food exellent. Just take your time to wait, because all is prepared at the moment.
We had a great time! They had very nice white dog! And also a cat. i hope the hotel is feeding them!
I personally didn't like the black sheets, but it is subjective. But the bed was comfortable. The place is very good.

the staff is super friendly and helped us with all the queries we had. beyond everybody seemed to love our daughter and took her for playing while we enjoyed our breakfast. the bungalows were very clean, the outdoor shower is huge and the place itself a little outside of the busy lovina. still you have everything you need in a 10 min walking distance

Perfect getaway in the middle of the rice fields, yet close to everything, just two minutes from the beach and all the restaurants. Very peaceful place and calm at night, also the room was perfectly clean. They gave us very good tips and even arranged our swimming with dolphins/snorkeling tour, so don’t worry if you don’t have anything planned or booked when you arrive in Lovina. They were so nice and allowed us to have the breakfast after we got back from the tour, and before we left the room later than we should’ve! :)

Location was nice, hidden away from the main street. The room was clean and the service was FANTASTIC! Couldnt recommend a nicer villa to stay in.
At first, it was bit hard to find by car on Google maps but once you find the back road its good.

beautiful place in the middle of rice fields. amazing little houses all to yourself. huge bathroom. staff was super nice and willing to help.
many bugs in the room (to the point where we had to change rooms) but that’s just life under the tropics!

The place is very serene and quite. Surrounded by rice fields it's absolutely beautiful and great for some down time.
It's a 8-10 minute walk from the beach and very conveniently located.
The walking path to the resort is not lit at all and can get a bit dark to walk back post sunset.

Pro's
- Felt safe and secure travelling as a solo mum
- Beautiful grounds and rooms
- Simple but beautifully executed breakfast. The French toast is amazing!
- Great location - far enough from main road, yet 10min walk to main strip.
- Family friendly
- Were excepting of our local family visiting
Con's
- Had issues with WIFI. Staff were helpful and worked to resolve
- Never worked out how to get food apart from breakfast - didn't know when/if restaurant was opened. Didn't matter too much as we ventured out most days and nights.
- Had no hot water the day before we left from afternoon until midnight. Was finally resolved but I had to assist testing it during that time, instead of packing and preparing by children for dinner and bed. They should have got another staff member to help instead of me doing it.

It was very worth the money, just sitting next to the rice field. And the room was big and comfy, I'm happy with what I got!

Very clean, large room with a great partially outdoor bathroom. Very friendly staff. Good WiFi. Superb location; close to everything (about a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shops), but quietly tucked away in the rice fields. Great breakfast and lovely pool. Kettle in the room.
We had a lot of ants in our room on arrival, but they did deal with them

This place was such a paradise. The villa and the views, the pool, the super lovely staff, amazing breakfast, basically everything was fantastic! Sadly, I was recovering from being very sick so didn't get to explore much of the area but that meant I got to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the pool. The surroundings are very peaceful and ideal for relaxing. I booked the dolphin tour with the front desk and was lucky enough to go out on the boat and see them on my last morning there! The beach is just a short walk away, same for a big supermarket where you can stock up on everything you need. I would definitely recommend this place.

The Villa, pool and grounds were excellent. Easy walk to a couple of supermarkets and wine store. Very quiet location as it is located in amongst the paddy fields.

We planned on staying at Pandawa Villiage for 2 nights but extended it to 4. The location was perfect. Off the busy road so the only thing that will wake you up in the morning are frogs, birds and of course a few chickens. It was perfect. Each villa is positioned behind one another and spaced well so you have lots of privacy. We stayed at the end one right across from the rice fields and it was wonderful. We were able people to watch the village residents go about there daily life. The room is a little dated but it was huge with floor to ceiling windows a very large bathroom and a large patio with chairs. The bed was very comfy. But the best thing was all staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. A thank you to Kadek who made delicious breakfasts and giving us big hellos from the kitchen every morning and he helped clean our room and a special thank you to Lovely Henni for welcoming us every morning with her smile and taking the time to make our room so pretty every morning. We definitely will stay again. Thank you.
Room is a little dated
