Absolutely Amazing.

From the moment we arrived at this absolutey wonderful place in a beautiful part of Bali we were pampered from start to finish. All of the people who were to look after us for the week greeted us on our arrival with friendly warm smiles and from that point on any request we made would magically happen before our eyes. Any issues were resolved instantly by Komang and his lovely wife, the beautiful gardens were attended to by two very nice men who would discreetly deal with the day to day needs of the outdoors, including the wonderful infinity swimming pool. Our amazing meals were provided by Putu and Gede, two very special people who not only cooked the most delicious Indonesian meals, they also made our meal times full of joy and laughter. A special mention must go to the lovely ladies who attended to our many massages through out our stay, thank you. We would love to keep this paradise our secret, however it wouldn't be fair to not share Villa Cahaya with the rest of the world.

Wonderful stay.

It was a wonderful stay. The villa is very spacious, with four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, two terraces, and plenty of space to relax both indoors and out. There's a large swimming pool with beautiful sunset views. The garden is beautiful, large yet intimate, designed to provide both privacy and the enjoyment of these beautiful properties. But above all, this villa isn't about the building itself, but about the people who cared for us. Gede and Putu prepared wonderful meals for us. Putu is the best chef in Bali, and she's also incredibly kind and caring. Komang provided us with all the information we needed about the area, recommended local activities, and even drove us around whenever we needed him. Everything was wonderful.

The only thing we can suggest to further improve the first impression is to replace the towels - the current ones are quite stained despite being thoroughly washed.

Villa Cahaya is a perfect home base to see the amazing waterfalls in the northern part of Bali.

Komang, the owner, runs the villa extremely well. The whole staff met us upon arrival and gave us a warm welcome. It was my husband’s birthday which I mentioned ahead of time, and the Villa went out of their way to make our arrival a celebration. Putu, the cook and her assistant Gede made fabulous meals for dinner and lunch upon our request after long days/early mornings on excursions. And Kedak, the driver could not have been a nicer person, taking us all over the country to see amazing natural and cultural sites. We also were able to take advantage of the :90 bamboo massage which was just magical! The Villa is absolutely lovely, modern, clean. My family and I thought the place and the people running it were so friendly and hospitable. We highly recommend Villa Cahaya to everyone!

Incroyable

La villa est exceptionnelle, vous pouvez y loger huit personnes sans problème. Il y a véritablement deux maisons une avec la cuisine et le salon et une autre qui est comme un apprenti où il y a deux chambres avec salle de bain. Vous pouvez avoir des massages directement dans votre maison, vous avez votre piscine privée vous avez votre parking privé c’est un endroit exceptionnel. Serein tranquille au calme. Le plus c’est qu’on vous propose de vous faire le petit déjeuner ainsi que le dîner vous avez une carte. Vous pouvez choisir ce que vous souhaitez. C’est vraiment le plus.

Endroit fabuleux

L'endroit est fabuleux, la piscine est magnifique, le personnel est au petit soins (blanchisserie gratuite, ils cuisinent gratuitement et on ne paye que les produits qu'ils ont acheté!).

un peu excentré du centre, ils proposent un service de navette mais un peu cher (nous avons opté pour des taxis grab).

Tout c’était magnifique la piscine aussi. Le personnel adorables et très bonne communication par watsapp un super service un seul regret de ne pas avoir pris 4 nuits! Mes amis étaient aux anges aussi et la massage top!

Helt fantastisk. Ville uden tøven tage derhen igen. Kan klart anbefales!

Hele villaen med lækre værelser, badeværelser og især det overdækkede spisebord med udsigt. Poolen og området omkring var nok det bedste. Personalet og den gode service var dog det allerbedste.

Det lå for afsides til at man kunne gå nogen steder, men heldigvis blev der kompenseret for det fra personalets side ved at handle ind og køre os.

Geweldig. Zoiets maken we nooit meer mee.

Alles was perfect voor een paar dagen complete rust. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Er wordt voor je gekookt en je betaald alleen voor de producten die gekocht moeten worden voor de maaltijden. Wij hadden als stel de beschikkingen over twee appartementen en konden kiezen waar we wilden slapen. Wij vonden het geweldig. Hebben ons daar ook lekker laten masseren. De masseuses kwamen naar de villa.

In de omgeving is verder niets. Je kunt naar het strand met een shuttlebus maar daar is niets aan. Lovina zelf ook niet. Wij vonden het heerlijk want na het drukke Ubud hebben we genoten van de rust en het zwembad helemaal voor ons zelf.
