What a hidden gem this property is! Everything about our stay was perfect, from the quality of the accommodation, to the size of it, to the food that John and Michelle had left for us to enjoy during our stay, to the location for our needs and to the cheery, helpful John, for whom nothing was too much trouble. We have no issues in recommending this property to anyone wanting a quiet, luxurious getaway.

Das war eine unserer besten und ruhigsten Unterkünfte in ganz GB.
Auch John hat dazu mit einem voll gefüllten Kühlschrank beigetragen, war alles da was man zum Frühstück braucht. Zur Ankunft war eine Flasche Weißwein kalt gestellt.
Man braucht ein Auto, auch um die guten Ausflug- und Restauranttipps von John zu sehen. Vielen Dank auch dafür.
Wer Entspannung sucht ist hier richtig.

This is a little gem! It was a b&b with self-catering, which I love because you can eat when you like and what you like. John (the host) had provided a fridge full of breakfast goodies - eggs, bacon, yoghurt, cold meat, cheese..............the list goes on. The living room had a full kitchen with everything you could possibly need, and the bedroom had a large comfy bed with an en-suite shower-room. The whole unit was on the ground floor, which suited me because I have mobility problems.
It's hard to fault this studio flat - the only thing that would have been good is if the host had provided more tea-bags and some instant coffee that wasn't decaff. Fortunately, I had brought a few tea-bags with me and a jar of coffee, and so managed without shopping for more.

John greeted us and went through the accommodation, explaining all the details.
Showed us the fridge with bacon, eggs, yoghurt, milk, butter, 3 x cheese blocks, ham, bottle of water and a bottle of wine.also croissants, bread and a lemon dizzle cake.. This was unexpected and really thoughtful.
Later that evening, John came around with a map book and discussed where we could visit, John showed us quite a lot of aces we would never have visited.
We were totally thankful for the towns and villages John informed us about as they were picturesque with lovely people.
We met Michelle, she was really nice, we had numerous chats with both John and Michelle and loved every minute (4 days too short).
We didn't want to come home, really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely be returning in the future.
Can't wait.
