Simple, homely stay in rural Menjangan.

The property was peaceful and easy. Delicious, simple breakfast was served in the outdoor pavilion each morning. I liked the mosquito net over the bed. The best two room features were the wooden bench which served as a luggage stand and also the outside shower. The shower was locked from inside the room and was walled with high private walls. My guess is the outside shower would be perfect for divers rinsing off their gear. My guess is that mainly divers would book this homestay. Wayan, the owner, is a dive instructor. The whole family are very hospitable and our stay warm and welcome.

Menjangan is a more simple way of life and if you are looking for a 5-star resort experience, you won't find it in the area. The room was comfortable but in need of repainting. This was to take nothing away from the pleasant stay we enjoyed.

'peaceful' is the first word coming to my mind to describe this place, the hosts, the surroundings, and how I felt there. The room was comfortable and clean and the food was delicious, what else to say...? This is near the road and halfway between Pemuteran and the harbour to Menjangan Island, so it's actually a good place to stay. Very much authentic. I already miss you :))

The staff were great, they also had snorkeling and diving on offer which was an amazing experience to the Manjangan islands. The west coast is an amazing spot super quiet and this location is on a beautiful coast. Check it out

Unbeatable value with a superb scuba or snorkeling experience and access to a 5-Star resort..

This place is special. Why? Wayan and his family make it so. It is rural, the rooms are basic and breakfast adequate, certainly value for the rental cost. What makes it special is that Wayan and his family are well connected in the community and particularly with the 5-Star Mimbi Resort where he worked in the scuba centre for many years and his wife still works there. Now he provides his own scuba/snorkeling services leaving directly from Tuke. On days when you want to chill he calls the Mimbi resort and a driver comes from the resort to pick you up (and bring you back) at Tuke for free. For 150,000 IDR you spend the entire day at the fabulous resort with access to all amenities (pools, springs, etc.) including a drink and good meal. Basically you have access to a first class diving centre at Tuke with Wayan and a 5-Star resort for less than $25 USD per day! Having been all around Bali in my opinion the west is the least visited but the most beautiful part. The diving is the best on the island, simply spectacular at Menjangan Island.

The mosque can get carried away with Koran karaoke at 4:30 am on Fridays. Breakfast didn't always include fruit. Otherwise great value for the money.

Fijn verblijf met een heerlijk bed!

Heel fijn verblijf in een erg leuke hut. Het bed was ontzettend groot en heel erg comfortabel. De eigenaar hielp ons met het regelen van onze snorkeltrip naar Manjangan, wat één van onze hoogtepunten was tijdens onze reis door Indonesië. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig maar prima. Mijn vriend was jarig tijdens ons verblijf hier, en ze hadden voor de gelegenheid het bed heel leuk versierd. Erg lief!

We vroegen de eigenaar hoe we transfer konden regelen richting de haven (voor de boot richting Java), maar daar kon die ons niet echt mee helpen, dus dat hebben we uiteindelijk zelf moeten regelen.

Très bel endroit et accueil fantastique

Les hôtes sont très sympathiques, la nourriture est très bonne, le cadre avec le jardin est magnifique. Plein de gentilles attentions (café offert). Séance Snorkeling très réussie.
