Great place for last night before flight back

Very welcoming host, no problem with plane noise when the windows are shut. Awesome view over bay to Dubrovnik, very close to airport for our flight the next day, Off-street parking.

Couldn't find a good place for breakfast nearby before flight and airport cafe is very expensive.

Clean, great stay close to airport Dubrovnik

The location was phenomenal. Only a short 7 minute drive to the airport was a dream for our 6am flight. Also, we were welcomed in person and even got a little welcome schnaps. Super sweet! Additionally, the room was super clean! Cavtat also was a dream, very close and notably cheaper than Dubrovnik, with equally good restaurants.

For some people the planes overhead may be a disturbance, but as they are very infrequent (maybe once a half hour), we did not mind at all. Additionally, it's the closeness to the airport that made us chose the location in the first place.

Connect with nature and peace

Location close to Cavtat. Panoramic view from living room, a 3 sided window which gives complete view to the sea, town and mountains from Hill top. Mesmerizing sunset to cherish with the snack and tea/coffee from the living room. Amazing property with warm hospitality. Very generous and kind host.

Climbing steep Stairs and place where AC is installed, due to which room is not able to get AC cooling.

Some reservations

To describe it as an apartment is a bit of a misnomer as it is a room with smart en-suite. It suited me but if you expect a table or a kitchen its not for you. The room was quiet and overlooking a hillside. The room was very clean. there was a welcome cherry brandy on arrival and the owners tried to help when necessary. It is at the end of a narrow road so it feels out of the way and that means a relaxing stay. There is a sunny courtyard outside that appears to be open for guests to sit in.

Parking. There is off street parking but you need to guided in backwards by the owner as the street is narrow and the spaces even narrower. As I had a hire car I was unfamiliar with it and trying to park in the dark was nerve-wracking. I occupied the last space and there was at least one empty room so if the premises were full I guess you park elsewhere though I cant imagine where. You almost certainly need a car to use this apartment. The room was warm. there is no air con so if it was the height of summer it might be very hot. NB Access was via three long flights of stairs so if you have mobility issues be aware of this. I also felt there was no alternative emergency exit.

Confort et accueil

Le logement était super confortable, nous avons adoré cet endroit et notre hôte est charmante toujours à l'écoute avec la petite attention à l'arrivée que nous n'avons retrouvé qu'à Split. Le village de Cavtat est très joli par contre le prix du seul et unique parking est exorbitant. Le bus 10 venant de Dubrovnik a été le meilleur compromis ainsi que les navettes bateaux pour s'y rendre ou en revenir l'idéal pour deux personnes. L'aménagement de la terrasse est superbe et la proximité avec l'aéroport qui nous a fait un peu peur à l'arrivée n'a posé aucun problème sonore et est un avantage pour l'arrivée ou le départ de la Croatie.

La présence d'une machine à laver le linge aurait été "la cerise sur le gâteau"

Idéal pour une nuit avant de prendre l’avion

L’accueil, la propreté, la chambre, le couchage l’équipement avec un petit frigo, le fait de nous aider à commander un taxi, le fait de pouvoir y arriver en bus (ligne 10 depuis Dubrovnik), les conseils, la proximité de bec l’aéroport. La salle de bain est doit toute neuve soit hyper bien entretenue, la literie impeccable et bien sûr la chambre ne soit pas très grande elle est bien aménagée laissant une impression d’avoir de l’espace. Vraiment super qualité prix

Le fait de ne pas pouvoir aller à l’aéroport à pied ou en transport en commun mais il faut dire que lorsque j’ai réservé je pensais avoir une voiture de location. On reste dans le couloir aérien de l’aéroport, cela dit on a eu de la chance on est arrivés vers 17h30 et on est reparti vers 7h, on a entendu que 2 avions à 6h et 6h30 je crois
