The best Ferienhaus experience!

We stayed for a week at the end of November as a group of 4 adults and a baby and were very impressed from the start. The hosts were so welcoming and had so thoroughly prepared the house, from turning on the heating, clean kitchenware to a cot with blanket for the little one. The Mosel area is such a wonderful area to explore, even in November we enjoyed some good walking weather, castles and Christmas markets. The house itself is a stone’s throw away from the train station and trains come every half an hour in both the direction of Cochem and Koblenz. As a foodie I would have to mention the smoked trout from the local Fischerei- best fish I’ve ever tasted, and the Reibekuchen at the Christmas market, made by the local hotel staff. Would happily stay again and explore more.

Nice old house that all basic things you need

Nice quiet area not too many cars and people on the streets. Nice old house that offers everything you need. Second floor serves as a living room with tv. Private parking space behind the owners house 1 minute walking distance.

No wifi signal at all on the ground floor. First and second floors have reasonable wifi if not too many devices connected simultaneously. Streaming videos e.g. using chromecasting on the second floor on the tv is not doable. As the owner pointed out this has to do with the thick walls. Bath room on the first floor has a shaky wooden floor and gets wet and slippery very easily.

Fachwerkhaus mit viel Charme

Ein altes, gut renoviertes Moselhaus im Fachwerkstiel mit viel Charme. der Bahnhof ist zu Fuß in 5 min zu erreichen. Spülmaschine ist vorhanden Großes Badezimmer, von zwei Schlafräumen aus zugängig, was für Familien mit Kindern gut ist.

Das zweite Badezimmer ist recht klein, aber für uns (zwei Paare) war es ausreichend. Für Familien mit Kindern und dem großen, von beiden Schlafräumen aus zugängige Bad, dürfte dies kein Problem darstellen

Tolles , 200 Jahre altes Ferienhaus, top saniert.

Das Ferienhaus selbst ist ca. 200 Jahre alt aber toll saniert und liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ja, die Treppen sind steil aber nix, dass man nicht bewältigen kann. Ist halt dem Charme des Hauses zuzuschreiben. Herr und Frau Barz sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Auch wir haben bei der Ankunft erst mal ein Stück Kuchen bekommen. Und backen kann Frau Barz definitiv. Der Ort ist praktisch gelegen. Einkaufen und Unternehmungen aller Art sind sehr gut zu erreichen. Insgesamt also eine definitive Empfehlung für Leute, die etwas Besonderes suchen.

De gastvrijheid en het contact met Doris en Eric maakte het verblijf voor ons een mooie start van de vakantie.

Het vakwerkhuis heeft zo zijn charme en is stijlvol ingericht. Onder de overkapping achter het huis is het goed vertoeven.

Ondanks een kleine tekortkoming een prima verblijf, een mooi en compleet huis met mooi sanitair.

Locatie in het dorp, dicht bij de Moezel en de natuur

Er waren geen gemakkelijke stoelen c.q. een bak, alleen eetkamerstoelen. De leefruimte beneden was erg klein voor zes personen. Omdat het winter was, konden we niet uitwijken naar het terras buiten
