Welcome to our vacation home SILENTRIVER – MOSEL.
Relax in our historic winemaker’s house, whose foundations date back to the 17th century.
It was completely renovated in 2023 and, with its 3 bedrooms, 2 modern bathrooms, spacious kitchen, and cozy living/dining room, offers plenty of space for a vacation with family or friends (8–10 people).
The large terrace is perfect for socializing and sunbathing.
Thick walls up to 120 cm thick keep the house pleasantly cool in the summer, while the modern gas central heating provides the necessary warmth in the winter.
You’ll have the entire house—with an area of approximately 125 square meters plus a 40-square-meter terrace—all to yourselves; we simply ask that you observe a few rules to make life easier for both you and us.
The house is located in the heart of the village, near the church and right next to the viaduct that runs right through Bruttig. It is the remnant of a planned railroad line that was never completed. Instead of tearing down the viaduct, it was left standing as a historical landmark and has since become a symbol of Bruttig.

Vacation home, shower or bathtub, toilet:

This 3-bedroom vacation home features a living room with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave, and 2 bathrooms with showers. Towels and bed linens are provided in this vacation home.



On-site fees: Pets: We love our furry friends, but they should be well-trained and know their boundaries. This means they’re not allowed in bed or on the sofa. Please be considerate of the people who’d like to vacation here after you. When your four-legged friends need to go outside, the fields and meadows aren’t far away. Please be sure to dispose of dog waste, etc., just as you would at home. Bags for this purpose are available at many dispensers along the Moselle. Microwave: Our microwave is a multifunctional appliance that combines microwave, convection, and grill functions. If you want to use the broil or convection function, please remove the glass plate first. It is only suitable for microwave use. Induction cooktops: Our stove is an induction cooktop. To operate it, a suitable pot must be placed on the cooking surface. Use the touch controls to adjust the heat and select the cooking zone. Refrigerator: The refrigerator has a large cooling compartment in the upper section and freezer compartments in the lower section. This should allow you to easily store your groceries for several days. We ask that you check all compartments upon your departure and please take your food items with you. Trash: There are two trash bins under the sink, one for regular trash and one for recycling (yellow). We ask that you separate your trash whenever possible. You can either separate organic waste or dispose of it with the regular trash. Trash is picked up weekly or after your departure. TV: The TV in the living room is connected to a satellite dish and tuned to the most popular channels. You’re sure to find your favorite shows here. Wi-Fi: We have a 50 Mbps connection in the house and a Wi-Fi network with sufficient signal strength in all rooms. Please let us know if you encounter any problems. Normal streaming and downloads, as well as working with video conferences, etc., are possible without any issues. !! Due to recent events, we would like to point out that illegally downloading files can result in criminal prosecution. We are therefore required to store the device addresses (MAC ID, etc.) of the devices you use for a period of 12 months and to provide them to the authorities in such a case!! Bathroom – Hot Water Our house is equipped with an electronically controlled instantaneous water heater. As soon as you turn on the hot water, it heats the water to up to 70 degrees. You can adjust the temperature to your liking using the faucet. If necessary, you can adjust the base temperature using the touch panel on the unit. ↓↑ The unit constantly measures the required temperature and regulates itself automatically. Shower The showers are equipped with so-called rainforest showers that allow you to choose between a showerhead from above or a handheld showerhead. • In the ground-floor shower, the selection is made using the right-hand knob on the mixer faucet. • On the upper floor, you can use the button on the shelf to choose between water from above or from the handheld showerhead. Please use the squeegee for the glass wall after showering. Sinks The sinks are equipped with a push-button stopper, meaning the drain is normally open. If you wish to fill the sink with water, press the stopper to close the drain. Pressing it again opens the drain and allows the water to flow out. PLEASE note that these sinks do not have an overflow drain. Terrace The large terrace is equipped with chairs, a bench, a large table, and lounge chairs, which are available for your use. Pillows are located inside the house (next to the stairs). When socializing in the evening, please be considerate of your neighbors and adjust the volume accordingly. Many sounds are amplified by the viaduct arch. Outdoor Light The outdoor light by the door is an energy-saving LED light and is operated by the light switch in the hallway. Outdoor Outlet The outdoor outlet next to the bench in front of the kitchen window is fused. To use it, you must turn on the lower “Window” switch in the kitchen (the switch will light up). Staircase Lighting: Solar-powered LED lights are installed on the stairs; they are activated by light and motion sensors. And one more request: Things can break in any home. If that happens during your stay, please let us know. That way, we can prepare the house for the next guest. And if a major mishap should occur, liability insurance is included in the booking price for reservations made through Airbnb and booking.com.
