Great and cozy stay for hiking, drinking and visiting castle's

The open and welcoming owner and personnel, great breakfast, basic clean room with everything you need.

Location is not too central, but with a car and or bike thats not an issue. Train station next to the location.

Motorcycle tour

Greeted by the lovely jovial owner. Parked our motorcycles, in the back yard garage along with some other motorcyclist from Holland and Germany. Lovely place near to other bars and restaurants and a stone's throw from the River Moselle. Good meals and beer in the bar. Big room, comfy bed. Just a delightful place.

Cosy place with very friendly staff in one of the most beautiful and relaxing areas of Germany. The location is perfect for anyone interested in Mosel wines, nature and excursions, with e.g. just a 15 minute walk to the famous nature reserve Dortebachtal.

More than just accommodation, a truly friendly stay. Convenient and close to many Mosel attractions

We are originally from Australia and it was pleasing to find our host keen to speak English with us. We were welcomed and treated like family from the very beginning. We shared in many discussions and reminisced over many song favorites and requests from the past - truly amazing! We tried the local wines and had special treats with breakfast and dinner. We also found fellow travelers extremely friendly and even took part in some dice games our host would organize regularly in the evenings at the bar. Overall, a truly unique experience and one we strongly recommend, especially to English speaking guests as well.

Gelungen, unbeschwerter Wochenendaufenthalt

Sehr individuelles, sauberes Zimmer, schönes Bad und ein bequemes Boxspringbett mit Topper. Reichhaltig, gutes, liebevoll gestaltetes Frühstücksbuffet. Eine sehr ansprechende Speisekarte und eine hervorragend, schmackhafte Zubereitung der Speisen. Moderate Getränkepreise. Samstags auf Wunsch ein BBQ, das keine Wünsche , auch nicht an Beilagen und Salaten, offen ließ. Erwähnenswert sind die tollen Desserts. Gästehausinhaber Andreas ist freundlich zugewandt und sehr aufmerksam. Alles in Allem, ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir hatten schöne, unbeschwerte Tage, kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und sagen Danke.

Wohlfühlen an der Mosel

Ein familiengeführtes Gasthaus mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Sehr gute Küche, leckerer Wein vom Winzer nebenan. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß und für eine Würfelrunde mit dem Wirt war Abends auch noch Zeit. Das Haus ist direkt an der Mosel gelegen und perfekt für Ausflüge aller Art. Wir hatten E-Bikes dabei die wir sicher im Hof abstellen konnten. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder zu Andreas und seinen Töchtern.

Grote badkamer en lekker ontbijt. Indien meerdere dagen wel voor wat afwisseling van producten zorgen.

De eenpersoonskamers zijn wat te krap. Met het bed alleen staat het al helemaal vol.

Wir kommen wieder!

Toll gelegen nur 4 Minuten per Zug von Cochem entfernt, der stündlich fährt bis ca. 23:00Uhr. Der Bahnhof ist nur 2-3 Gehminuten vom Gasthaus Rosenberg entfernt. Oder man läuft in 45 Minuten an der Mosel entlang :-) Ein perfekter Startpunkt um die Gegend in und um Cochem herum zu erkunden ohne im vollem Touristentrubel in Cochem direkt zu sein. Das Essen im Gasthaus Rosenberg - köstlich und gute Qualität. Samstags regelmäßig Barbecue. Die Zimmer simpel und richtig schön und mit einem großem Bett. Andreas, der Gastgeber, unkompliziert, freundlich und zuvorkommend und sein Musikgeschmack soll auch gut sein, habe ich gehört. Was will man mehr, wir kommen sicher wieder!

Geweldige gastheer! Onze motoren stonden veilig en overdekt. Warm welkom bij aankomst, het was ook zon relaxte omgeving. Echt genoten van de omgeving en het verblijf, we komen hier zeker terug.

Top weekend voor goede prijs

De erg goede Gastheer die erg goed voor zijn gasten zorgt, hij heeft geen klanten maar gasten en zorgt voor bezoekers in zijn huis die hij een erlebnisgefühl geven wil.

Mijn kamer had geen airco en waren basic als je luxer gewend bent, maar alles was er. De spoorbaan loopt er wel kort langs maar is niet storend op de kamer (raam wel dicht)

We kwamen voor een weekendje met de motor en deze konden wij veilig achter zetten. Andreas zeer aardige man. Kamer was gewoon standaard, meer ook niet nodig voor een weekendje. Ontbijt was standaard met wat broodjes en beleg, meer ook niet nodig. Goed verblijf gehad.

Alles in allem ein total schönes und gelungenes Wochenende in einem tollen Gasthaus !

Super Frühstück, super Speisekarte, total netter und sympathischer Wirt Andreas. Morgens nach dem Frühstück gab es einen kleinen Muntermacher und am Nachmittag beim Zurückkommen gab es auch immer ein kleines Getränk. Klasse. Sehr Auskunftsfreudig und abends war immer was los. Tolle Musik aus der Box , drinnen wie außen auf der Terrasse! Tolles Lokal!
