Good place

very nice hosts, good location

It's a quaint small family-run hotel in this walkable little town. There's a water fountain right outside with fresh Jermuk water, a shared small kitchen, a sitting room with couch, table and chairs, and tv between the bedroom and the private bathroom. Coming and going is pretty easy, and you're steps away from several small markets, a coffee machine, a cafe, an ATM, a salon, and all of the Jermuk town attractions. The owner was friendly, and the room was clean.

This is to be expected in a tourist resort town, but though it's the cheapest accommodation you can find (at about $20/night for 2 single beds at time of writing), I really didn't think that the bedroom furnishing level reflects the price, especially as a single traveler. Elsewhere in Armenia, you can find a similar basic room with a private or shared bathroom, and pay half as much. It's simple and it works, but it just feels dated. The fact that a simple breakfast (bread, cheese, tea or coffee, fresh cucumber/tomatoes, and eggs) isn't included at this price is disappointing. Given that the room has a table and chairs, breakfast in the room would be a nice touch, and then they could call it a proper bed and breakfast.
