Hostel El Diablo

I wanted a central spot to leave my carry own and wash up before my flight. it gave me all that and more. the owner was super friendly . the location was perfect, near many restaurants and down town. i even got couple of o hours of sleep . highly recommended for a quick visit.

The property has a thoughtfully designed setup with clear and strict rules that ensure a peaceful, comfortable stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the room was tastefully decorated and spotless. The showers were reliably piping hot, and the toilet facilities were clean and well maintained. The two resident cats add plenty of charm and character to the place, and the terrace is a lovely space to relax. A special thanks to Nikolaj and Alexander, who were especially helpful throughout my stay. There’s also a convenient storage area to leave your bag after checkout, which was much appreciated. Very good location with ATM, restaurants and bus stops meters away.

The property is located up a flight of stairs and does not have an elevator, which may be challenging for some guests. There was noticeable cigarette smoke in the premises, though this is fairly common in Serbia. My room was situated next to the reception area, so noise tended to travel easily, and at times it was a bit difficult to sleep.

The property is really well maintained, the kitchen is very functional, it’s small though everyone cooking were considerate.

Common areas were very clean and it was so close to the famous bars and close to the everywhere in Belgrade. It had perfect location. There is a great balcony to smoke. Bunker had a curtain. Funny owner. 2 clean bathrooms with funny posters.

Im so sorry to say that but I think this place is a little overrated. This was my second hostel in Belgrade and this one shouldnt have the same rate with the previous one. Bunker wasnt cosy at all, it was small and not comfortable for big guys. (Im 181 cm, 95 kg) I have suspects about bedbugs. :( 0 events. Social area and the kitchen was too small and its closing at nights because its very close to the rooms. The balcony was also closing, so you had to go downstairs (2 floors) and smoke outside of the building. No elevator. Whole area was too small. 8-bed room has windows but they are only in control of the 2 guests. One was sick and I got also sick because of him. I had not able to open the window to get some air. Everyone (both workers and the guests) seemed unpleasent to be in this hostel. So I didnt ask anything to them, on my last day before my flight, I just turned back to my previous hostel, rested in their social area and asked my last questions. They were really happy to see me again, they remembered my name and showed their hospitality which I had missed. Please dont take it personally, Im writing this comment in good faith, maybe you can change some things in the future :)
