Great hostel

Lovely and helpful staff. Nice kitchen. Everything is fine in the rooms, cleaned often (though my locker was full of garbage when I arrived, small detail). Bathroom attached to the dorm. Thank you for the free dinner social, that was very nice and a selling point over other hostels!

I think the location is perfect when you want to mostly go to the centre, as it's directly there. I found for going around a bit more, also to the bus/train station, I usually had to walk around 15 mins to the bus stop. Just something to be aware of

A conveniently located hostel, but the noise and extra charges were disappointing.

Location is good, easy to find, and there is a bus stop a couple of blocks away. The beds are gross and have curtains.

The air conditioner is loud all the time. I asked for earplugs at check-in and they cost extra.

Very satisfied

A great hostel with an excellent value for money. For a very reasonable price, it offers everything a traveler needs. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the main attractions and public transport. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hostel – both the rooms and common areas were well maintained and regularly cleaned. The kitchen is well equipped, making it easy to prepare your own meals. The common areas are comfortable and create a great atmosphere for relaxing and meeting other travelers from all over the world. I would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend this hostel.

Good stay

Location is very good, well connected with the centre and rest of the city. Kitchen also very cute. Beds and comfort are ok. Staff is nice.

Sometimes there was almost no hot water when I wanted to take a shower. I either had to wait, or to take a shower with somewhat cold water, which was not the best.

Nice place close to city center

The terrace was really nice, plenty of space. The place in general was really calm, Easy to have a good rest after a long day. Pretty close to the city centre!

The bed was fully prepared at checkin. The room is clean and comfortable. With air conditioner, the air is fresh and cool all the time. Very fiendly staff

Wonderful staff, perfect location, there's coffee, a large terrace, curtains on the beds, very reasonable price for washing and drying clothes, plenty of toilets, space in the shower to keep clothes dry

TIP: If you want to go to Timisoara/other places from Belgrade - Pay €30 for GeaTours minibus, pick up and drop off at your hostels (price in 2025, going to Timisoara). I found this info on a booking.com comment so wanted to pass it on, it was sooo handy Nothing bad to say about this hostel at all!

Good value for money

Very well located and easy to reach all the main spots in town. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bunk beds were enclosed, which was great for privacy and made the stay much more comfortable. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the airport bus stops — I did it at 4 a.m. alone and had no issues. The area felt very safe.

Brilliant

I landed in Belgrade on a completely unexpected occasion because my EU visa expired after I had left Slovenia for Athens with a layover in Serbia. The reality just hit me that I’d have to go ahead and stay in Belgrade for a few more days before heading back. I was so desperate for a place to stay because it was near midnight and there weren’t many options left, so I went on booking to see if I could find a hostel. This is what brought me to this hostel anyway. What made them truly stand out was the reception. I was asking if I’d still be able to check in if I arrived slightly later than the check in time and the staff on night shift just kept assuring me that I could check in whenever I want. That was a huge relief for me since I was literally still having a bit of a buzz in my head. After arriving at the hostel, the staff swiftly completed check in with me and immediately went on to show me around the property, where everything including even the smallest details were informed. The staff on night shift specifically was super nice and chill! We talked about a lot of things and he’s always super willing to provide any info about the city. At that point I really felt heard and seen. Overall the hostel has some of the best vibes you could get in the entire world!

- great location - friendly staff - lovely garden - female dorm had it’s own bathroom and shower - free waffles and pastries at breakfast

- some guests were rude (not the hostels fault) - problems with the air con (again not the hostels fault, they got it fixed as soon as they could)

Great place

You can tell that the owners thought of everything. I loved the privacy of my little bunk bed, I didn't have a feeling there were 11 other people in the room! There are enough toilets, showers; everything is clean, and convenient. There's coffee, food, and tea in the kitchen, and the garden is gorgeous.

My bed wasn't very comfy, the mattress is worn out and could use a replacement.

Welcoming but something is missing "within". Not the true Serbian experience.

The beds were comfy. There is a curtain so it's good for privacy. People are respectful of ventilating the room for circulation of fresh air.

1. The staff can sometimes come across as curt and closed-minded. 2. We observed a cockroach in the sink. 3. Recycling procedures are not respected. Despite the environmental tax we must pay—an absurdity in itself—hostels should at least establish clear internal waste segregation rules (for example, separating organics, plastics/combined waste, aluminum, and cardboard). However, change starts within ourselves, and everyone should take responsibility by adhering to these guidelines. 4. Toilets need to be thoroughly cleaned—especially the moldy corners—which can be effectively treated with cleaning products like Cif or bleach. 5. The cleaning staff enters the room while guests are still sleeping (typically between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM) and leaves the door open. Although checkout is officially set at 11:00 AM, cleaning begins well before that time, interrupting those who need extra rest. Ideally, cleaning should only start inside the room after all guests have checked out (for example, beginning at 11:01 AM)

Good location

Rooms has no enough space for the bags, unfriendly staff, strange energy between people, any activity offered to the guests. They send you a group on whatsapp, but by the time I was there, I didnt get one any message at all. I've been travelling around the world for the past 10 years and I could say that it's one of the worst hostel I've ever been Tottally regreated for have choosen this one

All in all, a good place but there are hostels in Belgrade that are a better choice.

This hostel is good, reception is open 24/7, beds are comfortable enough. There were no lines to bathrooms in the morning.

I would say cleanliness is not perfect, especially in bathrooms. Bathrooms also were a bit outdated and showers cramped. Beds have curtains which can be a plus for many, but the room I stayed in was also rather cramped, which means stuffy and hot. I also think curtains must be washed more often.

One of the tidiest hostels in Belgrade

Very tidy rooms, comfortable beds, for sure one of the best hostels in Belgrade. It is in the very center of Belgrade.

The terrace (common area where guests spend time) is closing at 11pm, because of the neighbors. That is correct, of course, but it would be good then to cover the area, so the noise does not disturb neighbors and guests can normally stay there. Anyway, it is in the city center so during not cold months you can spend nights anywhere around.

I think the rating of this hostel is overrated. I expected much more.

I can´t even say what I liked, but I think the overall rating of this hostel is quite overrated. It is ok for the price, but I think it is unfairly rated so well.

In my opinion this location is not perfect. My room was very small, the common areas were small. It did not live up to the reviews I read. Also, a man snored in my room all 4 nights. We were all angry with him. It was terrible, I could not sleep. I do not understand people who know they snore and will stay in a hostel. Irresponsible.

That was my second stay in the hostel and I was very glad to meet the place and the staff again. The hostel is the perfect place to stay and spend time in Belgrade. Everything is clean, neatly arranged and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my time here.

The perfect hostel in Belgrade

Perfect location and unbelievably great value for money! Classic hostel-vibes with people hanging out in the kitchen/garden all day. For us it was perfect, since we were out exploring the city all day and only used the room to sleep. Mattresses could be more comfortable and the (tiny) towels bigger, but you can‘t have everything for such a cheap price:-). The welcome drink was also a very nice detail! All in all very rexommendable!

Very good

The hostel's no-smoking policy sets it apart from many other accommodations in the area. The staff was always ready to assist with any questions or concerns and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. The public spaces in the hostel were well-maintained and inviting. I particularly enjoyed the cozy common room, which was perfect for socializing with fellow travelers. Well-equipped kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals during my stay.

The walls were quite thin, which made it easy to hear everything happening in the hallway from the room. This could be an issue for light sleepers or those who value privacy. Additionally, the advertised parking facility was simply street parking, and it was quite challenging to find a spot for the car. The hostel does not have its own dedicated parking area, so guests with vehicles should be prepared for potential parking difficulties.
