Location bad but fair enough for price

It was clean and comfortable.

Location is bad. On the map it seems close to the center but there is a railway road. So it’s making the road more longer than it seems. Stuff couldn’t speak English.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was very clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again!

Fantastično mesto. Spavali smo jednu noć zbog koncerta, lokacija je fantastična za dogadjaje. Svega 6-7 minuta hoda. Izuzetno čisto, osoblje jako ljubazno. Muzika se nije čula u smeštaju iako je blizu.

Malo je vruće unutra, ali ima imali smo klimu pa je ok.

It was perfect, owner is super welcoming, rooms are great. And for the first time in my life i can say that the shared bathroom was EXTREMELY CLEAN at ALL TIMES. They take great care of the place!

It is basic, clean, comfortable, well-managed and -maintained.

It is clean and well-maintained. The room is basic, but quite comfortable. The bathrooms are shared, but there are plenty of bathrooms so we never had to wait for one to become available. The host is friendly and responds promptly to our communications. The large patio underneath a couple of birch trees is a nice place for people to be together outside. A walk along the Danube is not far away.

The walk from the Villa to the nearest main thoroughfare is a bit long and a large part of it has no sidewalk, which is inconvenient, especially because most drivers, here, drive too fast. However, there are free city buses and trams available to assist in getting you to where you want to go. The nearest bus stop is probably 3/4 mile away from the Villa. It is not in the center of city activity, but it is not too difficult to get there, either.

Chasing Donau

I mean the Villa was really solid, and the fact that the Danube river is there after a 5-7 minute walk shouln't be taken for granted as it is one great way to watch the sunset.

The fact that there was no knifes and forkes in my room, although I didn't directly asked for them as I always expect to have some in my room. The street itself misses houses and people so it can give you the creeps, and the nearest bus station is not too fast to reach, so I don't recommend this location for elderly people.

Not so great

- The hosts' willingness to allow us to pay with a card instead of cash only. - The hosts' willingness to allow us to check in a bit earlier than the official time. - The yard with tables and benches.

- The location turned out to be in a somewhat remote, industrial area, although about 20 minutes walk from the city center. - It needs to be clearly stated that the rooms DO NOT HAVE A PRIVATE BATHROOM! There were several bathrooms on the floor. Although we were not happy about this, we would have been willing to share a bathroom with the group of friends we travelled together but instead we were scattered around on different floors and areas and had to use a bathroom together with all other guests. - Having no coffee machine, not even a vending one. In view of the remote location, this was a considerable inconvenience. - There was a female member of the staff who walked in the common spaces around the villa and talked loudly on the telephone for over an hour. This was happening very early in the morning, too. - The bed in our room was big enough but extremely hard and uncomfortable.

The place was nice and clean.

The location was not good, I chose it because of the free parking on the street. I was missing the fridge in the room and it seemed there was no proper reception. My room was in -1 floor and there was only a small window.

Exceptional

Everything is like advertised. Not center location but 15-20min walk you are in Kalemegdan. Really cozy and comfortable place. The garden is peaceful and nice specially after the long walks with couple of beers with the night shifts members (is two lovely cats). Worth for the price and will be there again if need it.

The staff was never in the reception. We had to pay immediately as we got there and since we were coming from abroad we did not have local cash, so we had to go to withdraw money first.

I could not cancel the apartment 1.5 weeks in advance. I had a sudden death in the family and because of the funeral could not come. But the host did not give us any money back from the booking. Very disappointed.

The rooms were clean.

Location is terrible. The Villa is located in a industrial area. Bathrooms are shared with other guests. No place to buy coffee for early risers and no coffee in the rooms. They accept only cash on the site, it’s not not possible to pay the accommodation by card.

Helpful personnel. The room was very comfortable and clean. At first the location was scary, but in fact everything turned out to be within walking distance if you like to walk.
