Great stay in a friendly country hotel
The hotel is in the middle of the town with plenty of restaurants around it in walking distance. The staff was very accomdating and fulfilled every extra wish. We liked the fact that - for a small extra fee - we were allowed to take rolls from breakfast on our hiking trips.
Our bed was creaky, which was quite unpleasant. The TV was small and had a remote control with only 3 buttons, very inconvenient. I am used to a smart TV.

Perfect location for hiking
Great starting point for the nice walks that are starting in Manderscheid (for example VulkaMaar-Pfad). Start/finish within 200 meters from the hotel. Same goes for a nice restaurant with Polish food and berr (Alte Molkerei). Breakfast is good and the room is spacious (4 persons room). Private parking available. Very friendly owner Gabi.

Super Frühstück mit selbst gebackenen Brötchen :-) liebevoll zusammengestelltes Frühstücksbuffet in Bio-Qualität Gemütliche Zimmer, bequemes Bad und eine gut gelaunte und nette Wirtin

Idyllisch, entschleunigend, freundlich
Das Frühstück war ausgewogen, es gab sogar vegane Milch. Die Brötchen schienen selbst gebacken und waren sehr lecker. Von der Pension aus, kam man direkt auf einige Wanderwege und musste sich so nicht mehr mit dem Auto fortbewegen. Die Pensionsleitung war sehr gut gelaunt und Frühstück und Zimmer hatten einen sehr schönen Ausblick.
Insgesamt würde ich wiederkommen. Schön wären noch Parkplätze, aber vor der Haustür kann man auch so gut am Bürgersteig parken. Ein Wasser auf dem Zimmer mit Trinkgläsern wäre nett gewesen. Es gab nur Zahnputzbecher, die sehr klein waren.

Prima ontbijt met lekkere broodjes, uitgebreid beleg en goede koffie. De eigenaresse is vriendelijk en attent. Werkt hard om het iedereen naar zijn of haar zin te maken.
