La ubicación es excepcional para conocer el casco histórico de Cádiz y con la playa de La Caleta a 5 minutos caminando. El apartamento es cómodo y funcional, con todo lo que necesitas. La cama muy cómoda. Tiene un pequeño patio que te da luz y amplitud. El anfitrion fue muy amable permitiéndonos acceder al apartamento antes de la hora de check-in para dejar las maletas.

Es una casa antigua rehabilitada y se percibe un leve olor a humedad, creo que debido a la antigüedad de la edificación. Ningún otro problema.

Parking a bit pricey at €18 per day. No natural light in the apartment but not a big deal.

There was a very strong smell of sewage in the bedroom and bathroom, and valiant attempts had been made to disguise this by using a number of air fresheners and diffusers. Other guests have reported this over the last couple of years, and it has been passed-off as being due to a sewer problem in a nearby street. I do not believe that to be the case, however. Having previously renovated a property that had experienced ongoing internal sewerage overflows, I think it is much more likely to be an internal issue - perhaps a leak from the property above that has permeated into the bedroom and bathroom walls. Either way, it is very unpleasant. Perhaps more unpleasant were the two cockroaches we discovered in the flat, however. My partner stood on one of them with her bare feet! Two doesn't constitute an infestation, but it was enough to cause us to feel uncomfortable. Overall, this is a lovely property, but it needs some remedial work to resolve the source of the stench and hopefully address the bugs. Until that is completed, we wouldn't venture back.
