Location was perfect for wedding we were attending, cottage needs some updating.

Towels were large. Packet of biscuits left for us.

Cottage needed some tlc. Damp smell in lounge. Floors didn’t seem clean.

Mill Cottage weekend review

Quiet location, confortable and good facilities at the cottage.

The crows were nesting. The outside of my car including the windscreen were covered in bird muck on Sunday morning. Had to stop at a car wash on way home. Having said that, I guess the crows were all part of the rural experience.

Dirty and unwelcoming.It smelt of damp when we arrived .The whole property needs to be deep-cleaned and repainted.

Incredible value for money! Cosy, homely, spacious, warm and in a quiet, tucked away scenic area!

A very homely environment, a fresh 2-pints of milk left in fridge for us (a lovely touch) as well as, i believe, teabags and biscuits. Pretty much everything needed was available to us, such as a large range of kitchen utensils and equipment, bath towels, etc. Considering we required somewhere for a film crew of 5 to stay whilst filming in Dorset, where prices were double (and higher than that at times), this was a fantastic price for what is a lovely place with plenty of room. Very highly recommended.

Some anxiety among crew when owner couldn't be contacted by the booking agency regarding our arrival and the keys, but this was soon cleared up and we were in shortly after!

Great value and location plenty of space for the family

Cute cottage. Loved the fire. Beautiful church and ideal location for us. Great value for three bed rooms.

Cottage was a little tired in places. Slight smell of dog/damp occasionally. Bathroom a bit cold sometimes.

Superb area to visit and explore, owner friendly and accessible, thought it was expensive.

Fire, heating good and easy to use, bath nice deep, plenty of hot water, bed comfy, superb location, well equipped , stable door, walks from the doorstep

Gloomy position, wouldn’t use the garden as no sun able to get in, washing machine didn’t work, berries really sticky fell on car where parking spot was, had to clean off every day, found slugs in the kitchen, damp
