Dream Stays Bath - Trim Street Townhouse with Hot tub

Best location- central but not too noisy. The hot tub was fab and kitchen had everything we needed.

There was some street noise from loiterers in the front. The crib did not come with a mattress, so we folded up a duvet.

Amazing location just walking distance to everything! Amazing rooms and the bathrooms were also to a great standard. Had everything we needed and would definitely stay again.

We would’ve liked a bit of help with the hot tub- we couldn’t find any instructions!

Love the space in the property, clean and has everything you could need. Friendly hosts and we were able to leave our luggage before check in. Right in the city centre, bonus of a hot tub! We will come back again next year!

Location was amazing, value for money was very good. key code for the door was super easy. the space / accommodation was perfect.

no provisions for pets even thought we were charged - waiting for a refund on that. no welcome pack as featured in the photographs (bread, biscuits etc) , just some milk in the fridge and empty salt + pepper. No oil etc to cook with.

We decided to book this property a day or so before arrival. It was meant to be a quick overnight trip to Bath, with me (54 y/o), my mother (79 y/o), and a cousin visiting from the US (41 y/o). The pull of the property was the idea that we get to have a room each, and was in the middle of Bath. Location was super excellent - very close to points of interest (Roman site, bridge, amenities, etc). Great that they made it easy to get into the property (door code vs keys). The size of the property and number of rooms/beds is such a plus - I imagine it would be brilliant for a group/large family. The receptionist (at nearby Harington's Hotel) is very friendly and helpful.

None of the toiletries in the either bathrooms had products (shower gel/shampoo/handwash) in them. Considering what we paid, I would have expected they could do better than that. The radiators were super hot in the evening, and the controls/thermostat did nothing. We had to open the windows and use the electric fans (in retrospect, it was odd that they had electric fans in all the rooms). In the morning, they were stone cold (when we would have appreciated some heat). Television in the 2nd floor (main) bedroom didn't work. Makes you think if management bothers to get facilities checked regularly. We didn't appreciate that management was very rigid and unaccommodating with our request for early check-in. We tried to request this a day before, but was told they need to consult housekeeping. We asked again on the day - about 50 minutes before 3pm (official check-in time) but was again turned down. Upon arrival, we had reason to believe they didn't really even have the cleaners there, but were simply refusing to accommodate early check-in requests (they should have just said so that it's against their policy, to be honest).

Loved the house and hot tub. Location was amazing. When we had problems with the hot tub someone was there within 10 minutes to help us.

Instructions for hot tub need to be left at property. Top floor bathroom needs some tlc, and tiles in shower need a proper clean.

Could do with some extra cleaning stuff such as cloths to wipe down surfaces and the hot tub. More toilet roll needed for a big party. These are all minor fixable things.

Location and quality of house was very good. The hot tub was amazing, especially as it was not overlooked. Easy to book and having the luggage drop off near by was invaluable.

The location was good but the noise levels were bad until 3:30am then a loud fight broke out, all coming from the property opposite on Trim street. We didn’t have a good night’s sleep. The town house itself looked good on first inspection but soon realised how unkept it was. Firstly the cleaning wasn’t up to scratch for a 5 star property. Not vacuumed as there was party decorations still left on the floor under the coffee table. Bathrooms had green/mould on bottom of the shower glass. Scruffs on walls and chipped paint on wood work. The wooden bath panel and cupboard under the sink was scratched/ painted missing also dirty. Kettle was dirty inside. It needs descaling. Broken blinds in lounge and bedroom. This is more like a 3 star property and being generous. Definitely not the 5 star that’s advertised.

Slight mix up on arrival. The wrong information was sent to us, so we didn’t have the correct door code. It was sorted very quickly though.

Pillows were a little uncomfortable, not enough seats in the living room for the amount of people and the nespresso coffee machine leaked water so we couldn’t use it. The fairy lights on the terrace were also not working properly, only half of them turned on which was a shame as we used the hot tub in the evening. One of the double rooms on the top floor is a very small double bed and in the main bedroom there is a futon, so although this property says it sleeps 10 it is much more comfortable sleeping 8 or 9.

Location was fantastic, house was very clean and spacious. We loved the hot tub.

The windows need screens, mattresses and pillows could be softer/fluffier.

Great location. The kitchen is well stocked with not just basic tea and coffee, but also dishwasher tablets, detergent, salt and pepper, and a larger fridge freezer with ice maker. Bathroom includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and moisturizer. It was easy to find, was well presented and the communication on the whole was good and responsive. The property was spec'd as a home, so had all the things you needed in the kitchen, which we loved. It was hot when we stayed, and fans were provided in each of the 4 bedrooms.

There were a couple of things that need attention, although they were all more than bearable. The first image you see is the beautiful courtyard strung with fairy lights, which is stunning and a real wow. Sadly 90% of these weren't working when we turned the lights on, so it looked a little sad, but we still enjoyed the jacuzzi. One thing that I thought was missing was a proper high table to place drinks when in the jacuzzi (There is a plastic tower unit that I assume is for this, but it wasn't easy to place several drinks on this, I think it'd be nice to have toweling robes for the jacuzzi as only one set of towels is provided. These might actually be in the wardrobes, but we only stayed for a night, so didn't unpack, so forgive me if they are there. The bathrooms were well appointed, but some of the wooden parts need to be repainted, especially the random piece of wood behind the toilet in the main bathroom- it looks like a temporary solution to keeping the cistern in place. When we stayed the weather was hot, so having all the windows opened I noticed the non sash windows didn't have a safe way of securing them open in the main bedroom. With it being summer, the quilts and blankets on top of all the beds were not needed, so would have preferred to have had these stored away, rather than having to drape over one of the unused beds. The plug for the kitchen sink needs replacing, but the dishwasher worked fine.

Rooms got hot at night on top floor so had to sleep with the windows open which ment street noise and seagulls kept us up, this is typical of historic city centre accommodation so was not really an issue to us but maybe a couple of fans in the property would be good.

Location could not be better, gorgeous house, lots of little touches like bathroom bits, really spacious and super comfy.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

House was stunning and it had a lovely courtyard and kitchen was well equipped. Sofas were comfortable, as were the beds, and there was plenty of seating. Everyone loved their rooms and it was a great central base to explore the city!

There were no tea towels for the kitchen and we found some old cans from a previous guest. A plug socket was half way out the wall in the top bedroom so didn’t feel safe using that and we were sent the wrong door code so had to get some help from the affiliate hotel but they were very helpful.

Brealfast was adequate. N ot much on offer.

The instruction e-mail stated that he keys would be in a lock box, but the entry was a keypad. This was slightly confusing.
