Location can not be beaten!

I had to pay for parking because the hotel parking was out of service. Instead of telling us in advance I had to find out while standing outside of the parking. I chose this hotel due to the fact it had free parking included, instead I paid 180 dkk extra per day.

The room was nice, beds and bedding were perfect and a private bath and towels provided excellent.

Breakfast was very good. I liked the location in town; close to train and buses, and could walk around the town of Aarhus.

As to luggage and arriving early, i.e. about 2 hours prior to room ready; there is no secure place to leave luggage. Most places I have stayed at have a private back room to leave luggage.

The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. It was a good location for us too.

The construction works being undertaken. A large part of the lobby and dining area were out of use with electrical cabling on show and a temporary external staircase to access the room.

Nice central location. Walking distance to the city.

No a/c, very warm room. Very thin walls resulting in lots of noise from rooms next to you. Very outdated bathroom. Next time I’d probably stay at the more modern Scandic City.

Friendly hotel in a nice area downtown Aarhus

Older style hotel. Comfortable and well located.

We had a superior king room which was spacious and comfortable. We were over a main road which was quite noisy so we could not leave the windows open until late. The hotel is undergoing works but that was not too bad. The location is very central and the bus stops are right outside the building. The restaurant was closed for dinner. The breakfast was the best on our travels, We were there on Sunday and the breakfast room was very full and we just managed to find a table. The choices were amazing.

There is nowhere to pull up outside the hotel. We were in a car and had to illegally park to unload our cases. We booked because there was onsite parking. We were not advised that the parking was not available due to the building works. We had to drive about 10 mins to the car park (we got lost) which was in a shopping centre. Being Saturday we struggled to find a park. The drive was much further than the walk back to the hotel. It would have been good to know all this before we arrived.

The hotel is located in a very center of the city, 5 minutes on foot from the train station. Very close to the ARoS museum and Musikhuset. Room not very big, small bathroom. Windows to the inner courtyard, so in the room quiet. Electric kettle in the room. Breakfast varied and tasty. In the lobby drinking water for free and coffee machine - paid.

Ordered a room with two single beds - there were two beds joined.

The staff were all extremely smiley, friendly, and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and tidy. The location was absolutely spot on in terms of where I needed to be. I'd definitely stay here again. A full 10 gold stars.

Lovely stay in Aarhus!

The location was great. The first room I was given was ridiculously small, with a “sink” in the bathroom the size of a teacup! I asked to move to a larger room with a better bathroom (for an additional surcharge), which, thankfully, the friendly receptionist on duty (named Morten) was able to secure for me. The upgraded room had a good bed. The room had a very small safety box, though sadly no fridge. When the WiFi unexpectedly cut out one day, the receptionist on duty that evening was very helpful in getting me reconnected to the internet. The staff at breakfast was helpful and great: I asked for olive oil for my bread, which they promptly provided. They also offered almond milk, rather than just customary oat drink, which was a pleasant surprise.

The view from the room could have been nicer. I wish European shower “stalls” were securely enclosed, so water wouldn’t wet the entire bathroom floor when taking a shower!
