Stunning vintage place, I felt like Nancy Drew in the ild mansion 🕵️‍♀️ this hotel was one of my best exp On Madeira! Great breakfast included in price. I had an early leave on my last day and Natalia let me make sandwiches on the breakfast on the day before
The only little thing is the towels are quite old and may be nice to change them, but it’s such a minor thing that doesn’t matter much

Very traditional Portuguese feel, library and sitting room - it felt like we were getting the local experience.
Bathroom was just passably-clean, we've stayed in much better. Why must hot water for tea come from a meeting room-style flask at breakfast when there's a kettle in the kitchen? Small things, easy to remedy and would help a lot.
