We reached the accommodation by taking a bus from the train station. Several bus routes stop there, so you usually won’t have to wait long. The ride takes less than 10 minutes. To find the correct buses, head into the mall across from the train station and go downstairs to the bus terminal. From the bus stop, it’s about an 800-meter walk to the property along a gently rolling street with a few slight hills. Along the way, you’ll pass plenty of shops, banks with ATMs, and small markets, making it easy to pick up anything you need. If you’re traveling with heavy luggage, you may prefer taking a taxi from the train station, though availability can sometimes be inconsistent. The entrance to the property is right next to a small breakfast café that we highly recommend. Inside, there’s a very small elevator—just large enough for one person with a suitcase at a time. Even though my wife and I only had backpacks, we rode up separately because of the limited space. Once we entered the room, we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious and clean it was. The apartment included a separate living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The living room had a TV, dining table, and a sofa bed. We especially appreciated having a comfortable sofa to relax on instead of just hard dining chairs. The kitchenette was well equipped with a full-size refrigerator and freezer, stove, oven, plates, cups, utensils, and cookware. Coffee pods and a coffee maker were also provided, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was a bit narrow, but it was functional and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and while the pillows were just average, we still slept well. The bedroom also had a wardrobe, luggage stands, and a chair. One of the biggest surprises was how quiet the room was. Even though the property is located right on Siena’s main tourist street, the soundproof windows blocked out virtually all outside noise, and we never heard a thing.
The air conditioning units took a little while to cool the apartment, but once they did, the temperature was very comfortable for the rest of our stay. A couple of minor things are worth noting. There’s a small step between the living room and bedroom that can be easy to miss. Both my wife and I tripped over it once while heading to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The room could also benefit from blackout curtains. Bright lights outside the windows remained noticeable at night, and the early morning sun made it difficult to sleep in. The only real issue we encountered was at check-in. Due to a communication mix-up, we weren’t able to access the property immediately upon arrival. Fortunately, the issue was resolved in less than an hour, but after a long day of traveling, it wasn’t exactly the sort of problem we wanted to be solving after a long travel day.

Location was excellent. The accommodation itself was excellent value.
Tourist attraction information was available only in Italian - we left the tourist attraction information that we obtained in the main square from the tourist information office at the accommodation for others to use. To get from the train station to the accommodation was complex and a bit difficult whereas it was very easy if you just took a taxi from the train station especially if you had suitcases or you were not young and mobile. There is a taxi stand in a square just near the accommodation. The accommodation should have just told you this !

The location was simply amazing and the host was very responsive. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen had a good range of utensils.
