MyPlaceLisbon - Cais de Alfama Apartment

Our host was very friendly, helpful and amenable. We really liked the privacy and the quiet inside the apartment. Didn't hear a peep from the other residents! The apartment was clean, tidy and spacious. Great central location, really convenient and in an interesting part of the city. Comfy bed, provided a great night's sleep.

As mentioned in some other reviews, there is no air conditioning and not enough fans were provided. We actually brought two desk fans with us in our suitcase, and this helped a lot! The shower rail needs properly fixing as it's quite wobbly, and the shower curtain is too long so it gets trodden on and bunches up, sometimes leading to water spilling on the floor. It was a minor annoyance rather than a deal-breaker. We found that some of the casings for the various wall sockets were loose, but these were promptly fixed when we reported this. The fridge worked but the freezer was out of action (we were told it will be fixed soon - it may be worth checking with the host).

Every night, very loud parties outside the windows made it difficult to sleep. Not a big problem but i think that mattress and pillows should be replaced soon.

La ubicación.

La limpieza, es un apartamento muy dejado, necesita una limpieza muy grande, y el colchón eran 3, uno encima del otro, la ducha se embozaba…. Necesita una mano de obra en general en condiciones, yo sinceramente estaba deseando irme de allí.
