An outstanding stay in a beautiful mountain setting!

We really enjoyed our stay at Gasthaus Edelweiss. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was excellent, with a beautiful mountain view. The restaurant was also very good, offering a lovely dinner menu. We would definitely come again.

Swiss hospitality at its best!

The location was beautiful, the rooms very comfortable and the bar and restaurant incredibly cosy. The staff were lovely and very attentive and welcoming. During breakfast we were given an Arosa card each so we chose to take the train to Arosa, well worth it if you have the time. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was very good. We had originally planned to stay only one night but added a second as we were let down by the previous hotel. I’m so glad we did as we would have missed so much by not having a whole day in the area. We would definitely like to go back one day.

Excellent and relaxing place to stay in this beautiful village and surroundings.

Excellent location with stunning Mountain views from our room which was spacious and comfortable. Very good breakfast and good on site restaurant serving the best schnitzel I’ve ever had. We had an enjoyable weekend staying here as a base for local hiking trips…would highly recommend.

A great stay in a very comfortable guesthouse, with a passionate and friendly owner.

What a great service and hospitality. Very clean en spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Great location with parking and near a train station. Skiing & snowshoeiing possibilities in winter. Cycling and hiking in summer. I have stayed in many guest houses and hotels before, but I must admit that this place is on top of my list.

I have hardly any remarks. Maybe the wifi can be a little faster in the rooms, but it works well most of the time.

Dog friendly and close enough to get a big bang for your buck.

We could bring our boys - two cocker spaniels who love to travel with us. There was parking out front and it was very close to the Langwies train station, where there is also parking that is very affordable per day (5CHF). For CHF 2.60 with a Halbtax, getting to and from Arosa is very simple and affordable. It was easy to leave the boys for a few hours in the room to enjoy cross country skiing in the morning. It is possible to walk to the Langwies train station in about 6 minutes, but certainly more convenient to drive and park with equipment. Breakfast is also a super plus!

Great Little hotel,

Lovely little hotel about a 15 minutes drive from Arosa. We stayed there as a family of 4 with 2 double rooms (opposite each other). The rooms were very clean and spacious for our needs of 1 night. There is a restaurant on site with delicious swiss food. It was also children friendly, with colouring books pens, books etc to keep them entertained. The staff were also very friendly, nice breakfast too. Highly recommend.

Location for a quiet and peaceful stay - beautiful surroundings and excellent for hikers. Also, a great plus was the garage where we could safely park our motorcycle Breakfast was 10 out of 10!

If you arrive late, you will have to dine at the hotel restaurant or bring food along. Reason is that few shops exists and will be closed.

Excellent place, lovely alpine views. Wonderfully attentive, knowledgable and kind staff. Good hearty food and great beer. Can’t emphasise enough how helpful the staff are and gave us great advice on what to do for the day. Room was spotless, shower fantastic (pressure on par with a Kärcher if you turn up full bore!) Parking outside the door. Cannot fault in anyway, highly recommended.

Low price accomodation with very friendly staff

Accomodation offers excelent breakfast. The staff was friendly and very helpful, The location is close to the resort of Arosa (roughly 15 min driving) or by train which drives directly to the resort centre. Enough parking places. Nice restaurant on the ground floor of the guesthouse (unfortunately, that day it was fully booked, but it looks good).

We had a very nice one-night stay. The hotel is very well located, 10 minutes drive to Arosa, with awesome views of the mountain. The staff is very kind and helpful. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We will repeat!

Great stay with tasty food and very welcoming staff

We have arrived very tired after a long journey with our six month old baby and we were asked if we would like something to eat and that we can order a room service which was perfect for us. Soup and dumplings very tasty, also breakfast was of a great quality; cheeses, ham, juices and many more. Room for three was big and comfortable, there was a kettle and tea in a room, also beer and icetea in a little fridge, free of charge! Staff was very welcoming and friendly and I wished we stayed longer at this guesthouse.
