There was an awful smell from the bathroom of detergent trying to mask something disgusting. The bottom of the toilet was black. No staff at the property, the check in has to be done 1,5km away.

Decent for the price but don't expect anything fancy.

Good for the price (62e) but dont expect anything fancy. Terrace outside is nice to sit for a bit. Seemed clean.

Everything quite old, beds outdated etc. checking is at a different location and very impersonal. No coffee or anything.

Great value for the money in Kaprun

I liked room interior, cleaningness, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, convinient location. Also, it was one of the hotels, that belong to the same owner, and they offered the discount at their other hotel's restaurant, which was nice. We went to that restaurant couple of times, the food and service were good. Generally, the owner is very nice man, it's clear that he is passionate about his lodging business.

It's not a big deal, but there was not a fridge in the room; during our stay it was very hot, and we couldn't cooler our drinks. Also, we had a shared balcony with other hotel room, it would be nice to have some breaker/fence, so that people from each room could keep their privacy

Worst bed and pillow I've ever slept on. Very very uncomfortable bed. Pillows are not pillows because they have a minimum of 1 cm of filling. Can't sleep!! My neck hurts a lot!!

Nice pension in the heart of Kaprun

The pension has a really nice location in Kaprun. We had private parking area, the self check in worked smoothly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We used the sauna which we could switch on to ourselves which worked perfect. The dinner in the restaurant was perfect, the stuffs are very nice people! If you visit the restaurant, you have to try the “Kyselo” soup 🙂. And special thank for the love Musik for the owner of the restaurant!

Nice place but very impersonal.

Comfortable room, lots of spaced. Fast management response when we wanted our room changed.

The very impersonal nature. The only communication with management was via messaging. Nobody was there to greet us or give us our key and the only time we saw anyone was when we wanted our room changed. The management looked to be done from next door, which is where we had to go for breakfast.

Lovely place in Kaprun for ski holidays

Host is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was plenty and delicious. The room was facing a quiet street. Sauna was private and nice.

Was a classic guesthouse with thinner walls and therefore you could hear the guests next door. I should mention that this is very common in Austrian guesthouses.

Good comfortable accommodation in a good location.

Staff were very helpful and gave good advice on local attractions and activities. Breakfast was very good. Martin came in to breakfast room one morning and gave all the guests an impromptu performance on the accordion!!
