Great location and cozy cute little apartment! Well cleaned and everything basic to cook plus some info about 5 terre. In a great centre location but still not noisy at all we had great sleeps. Small but well organised.

There was no way to contact the host before getting there. He does work underneath so once you are there you can go and see him but we tried to contact him through booking and phone number and never answered. The shower works but really needs to be renovated and there are few windows without curtains so it gets bright early, not for everyone.

Beliggenheten i et koselig smug i gamle delen av Monterosso var utmerket. Koselig liten leilighet med bra standard. Sov på sovesofaen i 2 uker og det gikk helt greit. Vaskemaskin i leiligheten og mulighet for å tørke tøy utenfor vinduet.

Manglende kommunikasjon fra vert i forkant av ankomst, og nummeret som sto i booking reservasjonen var feil, måtte ringe support hos Booking.com for å komme i kontakt med verten. Det er ikke et eget soverom i leiligheten, det er et stort rom som er delt av med en halvvegg mellom stue/kjøkken og soverom.

Locatie is fantastisch. Midden in het gezellige stadje maar ook maar 2 min lopen en je ligt in zee.

Er waren alleen dakramen en geen verduistering voor snachts. Ondanks dat was de kamer wel goed verlicht.

The area around the apartment is mostly flat. When we arrived we did go up a very steep hill unnecessarily because Mario did not communicate at all after repeated messages. Monterosso is wonderful if you avoid being there 11AM-6PM, when it is flooded with tourists (even in April which is like August, locals say).

Upon arrival in Monterosso, our GPS led us up a very steep set of stone stairs (with luggage) and then down again to a street that could have easily been arrived at by going through a relatively level pedestrian tunnel. Mario, the apartment manager, could easily advise his guests about this, but he NEVER answered any of our messages with questions. When we arrived, a kind man at the bakery across from the entrance door led us to an Enoteca up the street where Mario works. The facility needs updating. It is directly above two restaurants, so table conversations can be heard until 11PM closing. The packages for coffee resulted in darkened water, not coffee, so we had to buy coffee each of our five days there at the bakery (also directly below the apartment). There was insufficient toilet paper. The TV is miniscule and should have a manual for operation (you need two remotes to operate it) as does the washing machine. There is almost no cutlery and the ladderback chairs are extremely uncomfortable.
