Europa Hostel Portorož

The staff were very nice, welcoming and helped me out with all of my questions. Roms are nice and clean. A basic breakfast is included in the price which gives you a nice start of the day. I really liked that there was good storage both in the rooms as well as locker in the corridor. Well-worth the price!

Maybe some privacy curtains, some kind of shelf by the beds and refreshing the bathrooms a little which had a little mold in the showers, not a big issue though.

Only 6 parking spaces and you have to reserve in advance. No stars deducted Why 8/10: Location is far away from the beach where things happen. The bartender really did not like me sitting in his cafe even though I was a paying customer, he kept doing passive aggressive things to get me to leave and shooting me unhappy looks, even though I only stayed till 13:00. The hostel locks the front door so it’s a pain to get in and out and once you check out you can’t get in.

Hostel is a roulette, it depends with whom you are sharing the room

loved the location, perfect spot, lovely staff - let us stay an hour longer for free, breakfast was great. would definitely stay here again. free parking right in front.

little bit of noise during the very early morning. people talking in the common room right next to our bedroom. walls are thin.
